THE GOOD
1. Pleasing to the eye.
2. Deep without being overwhelming.
3. Scratches the fantasy booking itch.
4. Can be customised to a limited extant.
THE BAD
1. Constrained to rosters split 50 / 50 between men and women.
2. No means to imports logos or graphics.
3. Limited hairstyles and outfits.
THE UGLY
1. Wrestler ratings cannot be edited within the game. There is -- in theory -- a workaround, but, I have not succeeded in finding it, yet.
SUMMARY
Well worth the investment if you enjoy booking and management sims.

Really enjoying the game so far. It's got a lot of growth potential. Think there's some tweaks that could make this more complete, but a pretty solid game all around. One minor bug: I have a guy out on Paternity Leave, but he loses Morale every month like I'm just not using him. Probably should gain Morale if anything.

Really loving this game early on. As a long time EWR guy, I found the opening explainer guide to be super helpful and intuitive, and far preferable to some other games' black box of what works. Right now I'm playing with a more basic setup to get a feel, but you can already tell this is a wrestling fan's wrestling game. Awesome work from Pykrete.

My revision:
1. Did not live up to potential. Dev was rude when I encountered issues from giving workers better stats.
2. Injuries still occur with injuries turned off.
3. This game is Anti-Modding. It could've been something special if unchained. Instead it's forever held back.
4. The names/ethnicities/locations are still wonky and have no consistency.
5. From the time of my last review, the game has been updated ONE time to "fix" an issue, however when I reported the same issue still happening, I was told I am making it up.
0/5. Rude developers ruin games. Simulator Games are ruined when Developers forget this is a Simulator. It's very "Gamey" and is designed "to challenge you", and be played "like a true game" and not like a simulator. In a simulator, you can set things up and are not held back by "games should be challenging" mindset. This is not a simulator, it's a pure game designed from the mind of "games should be challenging" - wrong. Games should be satisfying and fun, and in Simulators, the players generally don't want to feel their creations are "ruined" by a "need to impose difficulty".
---------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW
Rough around the edges, very good potential.
1. You have ONE weekly show of 90 minutes, and ONE PPV a month, 120 mins.
2. This is not a booking simulator, it's almost a pure game. Meaning, you will not sandbox book your way with this one.
3. Characters are RNG generated with few limits. I have white Ethopians named Yamato Pumbu and a Japanese black dude named Derrick Jackson.
4. Women wrestling is 50% of the roster. Also, the start positions the default women champions and contenders above the men.

This game is really addictive and fun when you get the hang of it at the moment its a 8 / 10 so far but the reasons are it has massive potential the stuff I feel that needs sorting which feel these can be at the moment to make this so much funner and it is some are also some bugs I found too.
Things that could be upgraded more than a fix.
1. Factions and tag teams need to be separate as makes no sense that they are together
2. A feud option like a tick box as not every match needs to be a feud and would make it more fun.
3. A loser option for multi matches and tag matches.
4. Tag Team & multi promos as cannot build feuds with them except for matches.
5. More belt title designs and a create a belt option as roster is big and feel more belts are needed.
6. Oceania needs to be in and be able to decide what country and city we run in for each show and ppvs.
Bugs I have found.
1. Scouting does not seem to work at the moment as scouted 3 months and only got 1 worker I believe but I may not of.
2. The mail is bugged at the moment too but it does not bother me as much.

The game has promise, and I think the developer likely spent a fair amount of time writing the scripts. Also, either the developer has made up names for a bunch of wrestling moves, or I don't know half as much about the sport as I thought. LOL. Probably the latter.
It took a little while to get set up and going, but once I did that the game moved along nicely. Now if only I could make a bit more money! One thing I do wish it had is accompanying music during management, and perhaps a bit of audio (maybe fan cheers) during the wrestling matches.
Looking forward to updates!

I feel like the bones are here for a much better game, which is kind of frustrating. The basics are solid, but with no sound, extremely limited graphics and the like, it's hard to recommend this.
The game can be kind of glitchy as well, as I built up to a championship match in a cage, and it announced the challenger won the championship, which is what i booked, but the next week he wasn't the champion. So maybe the title cant change hands in some stipulation matches, but it can in others? Like I said, glitchy.
Even with injuries off, there was an astronomical amount of injuries from scripted events, which can happen to anyone (my world champ left the week before my ppv for family reasons, leaving a giant hole in my plans)
If you're a diehard id give it a shot. If your not it's not worth it.
EDIT: had to switch my review to a no, after it glitched yet another championship. thats like 4 or 5 now in maybe 15 championship matches. this is a management style sim that doesn't let your management decisions go through, so it's fundamentally broken.

Game has promise but 2 things that need to be addressed sooner rather than later:
1. Game looks like trash on 2k/4K monitors. Barely legible. There's no way to edit resolution in settings (unless it's buried somewhere else.
2. Badly needs a workshop or way to import rosters. It's very time consuming to keep editing rosters as you go because default names are weird, or you want to recreate real-world companies/wrestlers.

The game isn't ground breaking, but its okay. First off, I've always wanted to get a Wrestling Promotion Management styled game. This game has potential. The longest part is getting everything set up. You can use what is in there by default if you like, but if you want everything to be custom, then you have to have some imagination & originality.
While there is some depth, I think that it could use a little bit more depth. I wish there was more customization aspects involved. Here's what I would love to see in future updates:
- Shortened promotion names should be maxed at 5 characters
- Allow players to completely customize their roster before getting started. You can only customize the sprites, their names, where they are from, finishing moves (& what type of move it is), & you can adjust whether they are heel or face (but at the cost of loosing popularity). Allow players to change their alignment at the start without a penalty.
- Allow players to run an all Men's or all Women's promotion.
- Allow better customization of Men's & Women's championships. Allow players to have fewer men's or fewer women's championships.
- Have better character attire customization. Allow color customization of arm gear. Include designs & patterns on wrestling tights, trunks, shorts, & shirts.
- Allow custom logos for wrestlers, factions, wrestling promotions, & maybe even championship belts.
- Add custom logos to ring mats & aprons. Allow customization of the arena (surrounding the ring)
Overall, the game isn't bad & it has potential to be better. I would recommend this to those who like management simulations. My score might change as more patches (additions) are made. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 2.5.
