I'm sure solo play is okay but I had a blast with my four friends. The game can be a bit wonky at times. We had to start some missions over as pieces would disappear or some other glitch that would prevent us going further. There are only 9 missions in total which makes for a rather short game. If you are really good, you can finish in about a couple of hours. I have 5 hours due to the fact that we repeated several areas due to bugs.
There are better VR escape rooms and far worse ones. I would say it is fun and has good puzzles. It also allows crossplay with the Meta Quest standalone version. I was using a Steam PCVR version and my three friends were using Quest standalone versions.
