There are very few details in the game, but everything is done nicely and correctly, which is clearly good for the game. The developer clearly understands what he is doing, so I just wish you success, I don’t feel sorry for a single cent at all!

I don't want to be mean to the dev but reviews should carry the most objective feedback of a product. There is a reason this game is so cheap. It's clearly a [u] very basic [/u] project done as an assignment for some video game developing class. Still I think this is a good example of what is the outcome when you work at something having covered the artistic part but not the technical one. Pros: - Competent pixel art - Good choice of music I guess Cons: - From what I have seen it lacks controller support. - No real option menu to adjust resolution\parameters\commands etc... - Controls are very clunky. - The combat system is laughable, if you press the quick attack "too fast" it just cancels the animation, the hitboxes are all over the place, some enemies are simply sped up x5 to be "more challenging", everything easily gets stuck in corners, the magic energy bar goes behind the HUD if you try to use a spell with low mana and 3 out of 5 attacks don't produce any feedback whatsoever, I don't know if this is a "chance to miss" mechanic but looking at everything else I bet it wasn't intentional (also because if you're in reach, enemies' attacks will never miss). - Enemies become invisible if there is a wall between you and them. You'll see them go invisible during a fight very often because probably portions of the transparent collision blocks over the walls gets in the way. - If you block with the shield while engaging a monster you'll see its HP bar on the upper HUD reset to full only to go back to normal when you stop blocking.

This game is good and has a lot of potential, and since it's $0.59 I don't even think it'd be fair to ask anything of the creators. I'd be happy with it how it is for it's price! A few notes: The combat can be a bit janky and maybe needs a bit of work. a lot of the time I'll find myself in range of an enemy and it'll be able to hit me but my attacks will go right through it. Whenever I restart I need to close the game and reopen it to keep playing. It's entirely on keyboard which I find pretty uncomfortable and I'm sure others agree so don't get it if you wouldn't play it. It's pretty hard, but I haven't played that much. if you leave and continue you have to restart the area. If an enemy hits you into a wall that counts as outside their area they turn invisible. I opened a chest but didn't get anything? A level took awhile for a fairly minimal boost. Overall I just think the game needs some tweaking and it'll be great, even if it was $5 and not 59 CENTS. The controls can't be changed, e.g. I'd want "heavy attack" on L for some distance and I'd put "guard" on another key, maybe I. You can't attack directly from a block, you need to release the block key for the game to register you pressed "attack". The music is fine, but the enemy sounds are horrible and would cause me physical pain with their loudness with prolonged exposure and there's no way to turn them off. For some reason, F12 opens the developer console instead of acting as Steam's default "take a screenshot" button. On top of all that, the skeletons do way too much damage and move far faster than you, so they'll kill you in a few seconds. Nope, I'm done.

Feels like an unfinished game. Heavy attacks seem to do less damage than normal attacks, the game will say you took 5 damage when it was more like 26, treasure chests are pointless, some achievements don't work and you can kill every enemy by going to the top wall, adjusting yourself so you don't get hit and mashing 'j' until it dies. I should have given my change to a homeless person instead.
