I think this game needs some refocusing. If the true hook is to explore Yosemite and uncover a story, why are there survival mechanics thrown in? Feels like it is trying to be two very different things at once.
Also, the non-existent tutorial made it very hard to know what to do next, and when I did find something, the interact system made it pretty difficult to enjoy.
I have lots of respect for volunteer devs doing work purely for passion, but this needs some changes.
