Tiny mushrooms are hidden throughout this beautiful cabin forest. Can you find all 100?
Some were a little tricky and some were even going for a ride!
I recommend the entire Search All series.
REVIEW
Search All - Mushrooms is a casual, hidden object, puzzle game. It is the sixteenth game in the Search All series.
STORY
There is no story, background, or setup to the game.
GAMEPLAY
There is one picture with animated scenes where you need to find and click the mushrooms that are hidden. Once found they will highlight and be visible. There are 100 mushrooms to be found and only a few are hidden where you must really look for them.
PLAYTIME
The game is extremely easy. Play time for this game is ~5-15 minutes to complete the puzzle and get all achievements.
COMPLAINTS
The hit box for some of the objects may require zooming in due to their smaller size.
REPLAYABILITY
The game has no replayability, since you would be finding the same items all over again.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend this game to anyone that likes casual puzzle games or is an achievement hunter, but only when on sale.
GAMES LIKE THIS NEED A NEUTRAL RATING OPTION
Steam should consider adding a third option for rating games, perhaps just a flat, open hand or a fist bump. Search All - Mushrooms isn't a bad game, but I wouldn't consider it to be a game I would eagerly recommend to players either. I feel like we have to just lump games into two piles, which isn't helpful to anyone, and having to give a Thumbs-down rating can sometimes be a bit harsh on the game and its developers.
I have played hundreds of these kinds of searching games, so obviously, I enjoy playing them. My biggest issue with this particular game is the user interface. Most of these games allow the player to zoom in and drag the entire screen around. In this game, you can still zoom to enlarge the screen, but then you have to use directional arrows located on the top, bottom, left & right sides. It's very difficult to pinpoint an area; you have to do quick little bumps by single-clicking on an arrow constantly. If you click an arrow and hold it, the screen goes all the way to the edges..and those edges include huge white borders on all four sides. This feature seemed archaic and annoying, making the game less enjoyable!
The wildlife scene was decent, and there were a few moving objects like birds, clouds, and helicopters. As for the Mushrooms themselves, some are quite large, but many of them are practically microscopic and definitely unrecognizable. Some mushrooms looked like typical mushrooms; others just looked like a patch of weeds or perhaps a flower. At the bottom of the scene, there were several drawings that looked like perfectly shaped mushrooms but obviously were not one of the accepted mushrooms.
Normally, I wouldn't complain about these features because these types of games are usually under a buck, $1.99 tops. Search All - Mushrooms is almost $3, which is way too expensive for this particular game. If it blew my socks off, that would be a different story, but it didn't, so unfortunately, I can't recommend this game.

Just for once I would LOVE to find all 100 items in one go! The first half are usually dead easy to find then it gets more complicated as you are not quite sure what you are looking for, and this game is no exception. It may even be harder than others because while I found most of them in my first run, I am not sure what I will find when I go back and try and finish it. I recommend starting on maximum magnification for this one, after all fungi are not big at the best of times, and these drawings get trickier and trickier!
Give your brain a work out and play!

I remember playing games like these in those subscription magazines you could have mailed to you as a child and I loved them so much! - I was instantly enamored when I saw this game because it reminded me that these exist and this did not disappoint! I do agree that some of them are a little *too* hard to find, but that's the fun in it! The hint button refreshes after a certain amount of time so if it's too hard to find you can wait for that :) Dev has a made lot of other games like this so if you're like me and want to play more, you can check out those too!

10 mins playtime.
No glitches. Various styles of mushrooms, some that don't look anything like mushrooms, and some background objects that look exactly like mushrooms yet aren't counted. Some mushrooms are located on quick-moving objects, including mushrooms that don't look like mushrooms, making this quite a difficult game for the wrong reasons.

The "Search All" series is a good set of HOG games.
This was of medium difficulty: some mushrooms were tiny and so hard to find. The music creates the atmosphere of the American countryside. The art is nice, but in some places brutal cuts of the art pieces can be seen. But there's no consistency in the resolution of background objects: some blurred more, some less. On-screen controls are a bit clumsy, but WASD for movement will do fine.

Fun game with relaxing music. This one was a bit more challenging than others in the series: there were 100 mushrooms, quite a few of which were hard to find. I was grateful for the hint button for sure!

The "Search All" series is a good set of games if finding things style games are for you, if not then why are you even looking at this? Do not get me wrong I feel that in many ways they are lacking compared to some of the other games, due to the blend of background vs object art, controls, and a few other aspects. However, these things do not make them a bad games by any stretch. The addition of the HINT option on the majority of the series really saves any down sides mentioned, my biggest pet peeve in hidden object games is getting down to that last one or two objects.
As with all games of this style I feel the play time vs price, even at the low price they are, is cutting it close. A few games in the series I had to leave them running long enough to leave a review, and for those of you not in the know reviews require at least five minutes of play time.

I've played all of these so far... but this is the first one I cannot recommend: some of the mushrooms are so small that even at full magnification, it's pretty much impossible to know that this "dot" is a mushroom; unless you enjoy a clickfest or use a hint, it'll remain hidden. The art is interesting as usual, the mushrooms come in various shapes and sizes, I dislike the music as usual (I end up turning it off), but I think this time around 5% of the mushrooms could have benefited from better definition. I hope the next games are "back" to the normal challenge: hard but feasible, without some of the guesswork that is required here.
Also putting some of the mushrooms on moving objects will be difficult for some people; it's fun that moving objects temporarily make the "target" out of sight using obstruction, but hand-eye coordination should not be required in games like this. For those 2 issues, I can't recommend this game.
