As a big fan of Farmer's Life, I was genuinely excited to try Farmer's Father: Save the Innocence. The premise had so much potential, and I was eager to dive in despite the early warnings from other players about numerous bugs. Hoping that time had allowed the developer to iron out these issues, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and purchased the game. Unfortunately, my optimism was misplaced. The game feels rushed, as if the developer didn’t take the time to polish it—or worse, as if they don’t really care. There are so many problems that make it unplayable at times. A lot of the dialogues fail to load properly, leaving placeholders like "NPCnamestory#" instead of actual text. Some of the descriptions are inaccurate, making it even harder to figure out what to do. On top of that, there are still broken quests that prevent progress entirely. I tried to stick with it and kept playing for 20 hours in an attempt to finish the storyline but I ended up giving up entirely, which is not something I usually do with games. These issues make it clear that the game is not ready for release. It’s disheartening because I wanted to support the developer as a fan of their previous works, but this release has shaken my trust in their ability to deliver a quality product. Until these problems are addressed—and addressed thoroughly—I cannot recommend Farmer's Father: Save the Innocence. For now, it stands as a disappointing and regretful purchase.
