Great game, not too long, but plenty of bonus content for those who want to get more out of this game, my only real criticism is some cutscenes could do with a skip option after you've seen it once or twice, since multiple playthroughs is required to fill the gallery (the only achievement this game has) I think this game could do with more achievements, even if all of them are just ones you'd unlock on your way to getting the only achievement the game has, but I don't think it's really the focus of the game, it doesn't detract by only having 1 achievement, it's just fun to have more to work for, or to have those little milestones along the way as you go for the main one the music is great, and the art, which is important considering the entire game takes place in an art museum, I feel like there's some yume nikki influences here too which is always a plus, it's great as a fan of yume nikki to see where it's inspired other works, there's great atmosphere, the characters are alright although honestly I felt it could've perhaps done with a couple more, but there are benefits to a limited cast I suppose I did notice a couple typos in my playthrough, but nothing that'd be an issue for understanding puzzles or anything, it's not going to ruin your experience with the game and they're pretty few and far between I haven't played the original ib so I don't know how it stacks up comparatively, or whether what this version adds is substantial enough to pay for, but I enjoyed it, I'll probably give the original free version a go since I enjoyed this one so much also I want to add, at points the music made me reminiscent of some of the music in LiEat, so if you were a fan of this game's soundtrack perhaps you'd enjoy LiEat, although I realise this game's is a bit more atmospheric and tries to lean more into ambiguity and an eerie feeling, both are good but they both attempt to do different things, so it's not one to one the vibe is different between them despite the similarities, but nonetheless, maybe a good option if you enjoyed the music of ib

Very good game! It's short, but there's lots of fun puzzles and an interesting story line! Lots of little creepy moments. A little bit similar to Alice in Wonderland.

Ib was my intro to RPGMaker horror 10 years ago, and it's been a favorite of mine ever since. The game itself is definitely nothing horrifying, but that's not to say there aren't moments that spook ya It's easy to play through in a couple hours even if you take the time to backtrack and explore everything. I am able to play through several times and get every available ending in a day I love the art style and it's simple, straightforward story makes it easy to follow. Some basic puzzles help keep players engaged throughout the game. It's a great game for folks who are just getting into horror, or even just folks looking for something that's short and sweet

I played Ib like 8 years ago, and it still lingers in my memory as a well beautifully written rpg horror game. It’s perfect for people that enjoy games like Mad Father, Okegom games, Witch’s Heart, and Yume Nikki. If simple pixel art style isn’t something you are familiar with it’s definitely worth to give a shot with this game since it also has short gameplay but despite that it masterfully builds tension and delivers a immersive world that’s as emotionally impactful as it is slightly creepy. A must play classic for indie horror fans. Buying it and replaying it has made me wish it got the same treatment as Angels of Death and got an anime adaptation

I originally found IB through a let's play video series on Youtube by a group called Grizzly Ganks. It made me really love the story of the game and the gameplay. I finally was able to get the game myself a while back and I've started playing through the game myself. This game and the game Mad Father both stick in my mind as games that are necessary owns in this similar type of game vein.

This is easily one of the best rpg maker horror/adventure games I have played. I would describe this game as how it would feel to spend all day at an art museum and then come home with a fever. This story and world would be the dream you would have that night lol. I love both art museums and these kind of rpg maker games so I am a bit biased, but I highly recommend it. The puzzles are all simple enough to complete without a guide while still being mostly fun. The music is surprisingly good too. I ended up going for all the endings. There are quite a few. I only needed a guide to get the true ending, which is my only criticism. Its a bit strict to get it. But the other endings are also worth getting and easier to get.

Artsy, fun and quite a colorful journey even on a second try. I love all the environments, the remake enhances this game well. The puzzles are normally at a reasonable difficulty, especially after thirteen years and my more grown mind to assist. One of the greats in RPGmaker

mysterious, sad, tense, and yet very unexpectedly sweet. still holds up today as part of what made me fall in love with rpgmaker horror in the first place.

Where to even begin! I've loved this game since the boom of RPG horror games, and have, at one point, made multiple saves achieving all the endings prior to playing its Steam version :) Steam version has improved so much in puzzles, dialogue, art, and music!!
I do still wish for an ending where all 3 of them make it out... like... plz ಥ‿ಥ
but overall, the game is as beautiful as the first time I played it and I hope more people get to experience it :))
