Story was engaging and I enjoy the characters quite a bit. I also especially enjoy the visuals in this version of the game, the character designs are very pleasing to the eye. Definitely would recommend trying it out, especially if you are newer to rpg horror games. [spoiler]Seeing Goldia attempting to connect with Lisette, especially in Lisette's extras room, gets at my heartstrings a bit. Love all the interactions Goldia has with the others frankly but I wanted to shout out that thought.[spoiler]

A game I wanted to play for a long time that I finally decided to lock in and finish, and honestly? It was worth it. Every main section had something to love, the puzzles were great, the characters were enjoyable. G my beloved... And the story itself, while fragmented (obviously), fills everything to the brim with moments that will make you connect the pieces you were given. It's definitely worth the play.

Well, that was a life-changing experience, is what I would say now. I can't quite share why that is, but I haven't been the only one in my friend circles that's fallen in love with this game and its characters after playing. Plus, for the engine it's built in, the visuals are probably the prettiest I've ever seen, props to the art team, no idea how this is even possible. However, a warning for those looking to play this for the first time, it's not a game you skip through. You need to slow down and read carefully. I found the riddles and puzzles extremely easy and not obstructive at all, but I've seen so many people complaining about them, and it's just because they're trying to go too quickly and aren't reading properly or aren't processing what they're reading. Anyway, peak game.

Beautiful game; great music, character design, and story. It was clear there was so much love put into this game by the devs, it is a wonderful experience!

Pros: Stunning art style (personally, I find the older one even more charming). Brilliant storytelling that isn't afraid to embrace subtlety over exposition, a great example of show, don’t tell. Exceptional sound design that heightens the atmosphere and little actions beautifully. A profound and haunting exploration of the protagonist’s psyche. Cons: The choice system in Pocket Mirror is terrible, frankly, frustrating. It’s far too easy to get locked into the worst outcomes, with just one choice being wrong potentially ruining your path to alternate endings. The design almost demands that you follow a guide to avoid the most negative results, and that shouldn’t be a requirement. To me, this is the game’s only major flaw, but it’s a significant one. Because of that, I’d give Pocket Mirror an 8/10.

A good story and well written characters an rpg maker horror i can recommend to fans of those types of games, and maybe even to those who arent

After 100 percenting the game and getting all of the endings as well as the charms and the achievements, I'd would have to say that both this game as well as Little Goody Two Shoes are both the most story-driven games I have ever played. From the cutscenes, the art, music, and the bit of voice acting, to the mesmerizing gameplay, this game honestly kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish by a long shot. I wholeheartedly recommend this game to any person that wants to get into this franchise.

i love when game looks cute but it is actually horror game. its like alice in wonderland mixed with identity crisis and more horror
