Detective Max - Double Clues Reviews

A decent point & click mystery puzzler, where you're playing detective. You'll have to do a lot of clicking to find hot-spots and clues. Also some of the puzzles require math skills, so have that in mind before buying, in case that's a deal breaker for you. Graphics and audio are pretty good considering this is a mobile port, although the repetitive background music -while fitting with the mystery mood of the game- could use a little variety. Some puzzles can be challenging and even frustrating, overall this isn't a walk in the park, especially for players not particularly familiar and experienced with puzzlers. That said, apart from one particular puzzle towards the latter stages of the game which is totally obscure [spoiler](you will still be wondering about the solution even after you've come up with the required number)[/spoiler], I liked the variety and difficulty range of the puzzles. There is virtually no replay value, but the game is quite cheap and it should at least keep you busy for a few hours.

Am greatly enjoying the game so far! The controls could be better, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

I enjoyed playing this game. Detective work was interesting, puzzles reasonable, hints available if desired, graphics nice, no technical issues. I recommend this game.
