Very fun game. Short and sweet.
The game features 60 levels, that all take place in 1 screen worth of space.
In the beginning they start off extremely easy, but gradually ramp up in difficulty, with a few later ones being a real challenge.
The game has 2 modes - Normal and Hard. To my understanding the only difference is that the normal difficulty stages have check points in the levels and hard stages do not. I played the entire game on hard and had a blast.
The controls are very simple. You have your directional keys, a jump and a dash. The dash can also be directed in 8 directions using the directional keys (since dashing diagonally is needed sometimes I would recommend the use of a controller).
Now to some downsides:
- The game is rather short (if you are really good, each level can be done in under a minute)
- There is no way to check or remap the controls in the settings
- The inputs can get a bit messed up from time to time (mainly saw when dashing horizontally my character would sometimes dash in a downwards diagonal direction) - I does not happen very often, but it will cost you some attempts
But overall a great game for the price, and just a fun 2D platformer.
