I wasn't able to launch the game. Kept running into the same error after un-installing and re-installing on my first launch. Requested a refund, not worth 10$ :/ Traceback (most recent call last): File "infinite_construction.py", line 33, in File "pyglet\font\__init__.py", line 183, in add_file FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: './resource/font/OPPOSans-R.ttf

Not really much of a game here, not quite an idler but not quite a passive sandbox either. Nice idea but needs a better interface and a lot of QoL to be playable. Even significantly discounted this doesn't feel worth the cost. I suggest people skip this one unless it gets a significant overhaul.

This game is not worth more that $3.00. It is an adorable little city builder, but there are no quality of life features. There's not even a settings page: No way to change the mouse sensitivity (It's different from your desktop sensitivity somehow), no way to disable to voice-over or the music individually, no way to change the keyboard bindings. As far as I can tell, there are no key bindings. This entire game is played with the mouse and the escape key. I don't think the game even understands itself. It states that you are rebuilding a war-torn town, but you just start with a blank slate. No war-torn town just holding on by a thread, just 6000 money, 400 wood, and eight people that I guess just exist. Buildings don't even consume resources: it costs 600 wood to build a sawmill, and then from that point forward it just gives you 400 planks every minute. It is impossible to balance your resources, because the game consists of nothing but gains. IMO: Don't waste your money on this game. You'll get more from drawing a city on a piece of graph paper. Edit: I just read the full description for this game at the bequest of a commenter, and learned that there is one keyboard shortcut built-in: pressing the 'r' key brings the last built building to your hand, rather than you returning to the menu to select it. I have no way to test this as I already refunded the game, but based on the description other games do it better. Most games will have you hold the shift key to place multiple buildings, because building a dozen of one building shouldn't require a dozen keypresses.
