The plot points are cliche, but written VERY well, and in a way that you don't see them coming. I really enjoyed an evening reading this story. Unique in a way that will leave a lasting memory. Worth the money and the time. A very important message to be learned by everyone.

This was an immersive and satisfying game. Good art, story, character development, and thematic materials. I didn't like Veronica although her character is realistic - the ending was surprising and made sense. The characters and story change drastically. It's not what it seems. It was a great visual novel and I'm not crushed after the ending which is always good. Almost brought me to tears, I got really attached to the characters but after the ending, I won't spoil it, I am not missing any of these characters when I think about my lifelong gaming hobby. Still, it's a wonderful game!! 10/10!

“The Future is, of all things, the thing least like eternity. It is the most temporal part of time--for the Past is frozen and no longer flows, and the Present is all lit up with eternal rays.” - From The Screwtape Letters, by C. S. Lewis A short but emotionally resonant parable about the dangers of obsessing over the future, and choosing to sacrifice the present for the future. Once you begin to understand the theme that the author wants to communicate, it is not difficult to decipher the direction that the story will go. Despite this, the ending is still well done.

With a simple but solid prose and realistic dialogues Fairy Dear slowly—step by step—takes the reader deep into a dark Forest of no return. Light moments of the story only make shades of despair darker. Pros: + Believable characters: they are beautiful in their realistic simplicity. + Dark mythological, almost magical realism, setting of decaying world where elder Forest and it's creatures slowly devours human sanity. There is no way to fight back. And only hope drive people more insane. + Solid prose and masterful written dialogues. + Beautiful art and character design. + There is no hope for characters. Cons: - There is no hope for characters. - Not all people like kinetic novels. - Music is kinda amature. It do it's work perfectly, tho, but still lack of vibrant quality to it. More like music from old telenovelas. - Sometimes the pacing is suffering form little timeskipes and when you want to spent more time with characters you will get to another major plot point. - Slowburning start.
