Fun game for me once I found I could type instead of using only the mouse, as it made it much easier for me speed-wise.
Well done. Will be playing Endless Mode for some time. Hope to see more like this.

The most stressful word game ever.
I do wish it would give you a list of the words it was looking for... In the category "House Stuff", plant, steps and stairs did not work.

The alphabets falling from the top of the screen and you have to make a word based from the given category in each level. Some levels have bombs which can explode the surrounding tiles if you use the alphabet with the bomb. There is a virus with an alphabet and if you are not fast enough using the virus alphabet, it will keep spreading around with the same alphabet.
The challenging part of this game is you have to make a word based on the categories and not whatever you want. And additional to that challenge, the game has limited vocabularies which can be quite frustrated to play the game. "Eraser" is not part of "School Supplies" category, "Grandfather" is acceptable but not "Grandpa", "Soldier" and 'Magician" are not part of "Occupations" category, "Kiwi" is not part of "Fruit" category, "America" is not part of "Country" and etc. I think It will be more enjoyable if it has wider vocabularies.

tower words mixes tetris and word games, not unlike bloxi from 2021. what this one lacks in presentation and functionality, it makes it up by having actual word categories, so you're not just creating words randomly. there are 2 game modes, classic has 40 levels, unlocked one by one, endless is what the name suggests with an online leaderboard.
blocks are all single letters and they fall really fast. arrows/asd to move them or make them fall even faster, but placement is irrelevant and tiles fall from different columns, so there's often no real need for movement at all. words are formed by clicking placed letters anywhere to match the current category. there are a bunch of special blocks, some explode, others slowly fade and have to be clicked to see what letter they hide, ice blocks can be used multiple times, etc.
besides the why-is-this-so-fast speed, a major issue on release was the game couldn't be paused, but esc to do so got patched in after a few days. until then you were either playing or could click the house icon to instantly abandon the game and go back to the menu. mid-level progress isn't saved. levels are short, at least initially, but still. the next stage loads automatically and if you fail a level, it immediately starts again.
there's a 'keyboard enabled' toggle, which is essentially hard mode. if it's off (default state), both arrows and wasd work for movement, otherwise only arrows, as you obviously need letters to type words, though clicking still works. and if you press the wrong key, a bunch of random non-letter tiles appear. the other toggle is for 'automatic word detection', meaning you have to click the tick after making a word if it's off.
presentation is very basic, settings only include separate volume sliders besides the two toggles. no windowed mode and alt+enter only makes a non-resizable window. the list of found words can be browsed in the menu.
as good as the concept is, the execution is horrible. don't bother.

Good idea, but not particularly good implementation. The punishment (spawning a whole row of unusable special characters that can only be destroyed with bombs) for entering a letter that's not there, or entering a word that's not in the dictionary (e.g. tan isn't considered a color) is too harsh and totally screws up an endless run if something were to go awry with it, as it often does. Another thing that happens is that in campaign mode, the letters for the word category it wants often fall in order, so the first letters you'd get would be something like RENGE, which creates the word GREEN, and then the same thing happens for the next category.
Additionally, endless mode would be better with two separate modes, one with the word prompts and one without (just enter any word and get bonus points for word length). A fast forward drop button would be decent too, to speed up letters in campaign mode.
This game looked very promising on initial glance, but definitely needs some work to reach its full potential.

the idea of finding words in falling blocks is interesting, but they use "word categories" for levels, and I find whatever their lit is to be extremely frustrating.
"national capitals" is just not awesome in general.
my biggest problem was trying to figure out what did or didn't count for a list.
"household items" doesn't include "bin" "trash" or "trashcan"
"city locations" doesn't include "curb", "pool", or "shop"
and things like that *while* you are being timed are just too frustrating

It challenges our memory, general knowledge, search and agility skills. Endless mode gets really exciting when letters are near the top, I still have to get better on this mode. Also, beautiful art and nice bgm.
