Since I suck at getting all colors in the correct faces, I have to use my insane out of the box intellect and use ways to help myself better lol.
Great game and great idea. Waiting for what could come in this game.
My favorite cube was the Ivy cube just because it's literally the only cube I was able to solve so far without thinking outside of the box.

20 cubes for 8 US dollars. I see no harm in getting this game. Yeah its not the same as actually owning the cubes. But if you don't wanna pay 50+ dollars for a collection of cubes, Just get this game. I would recommend this game!
I'm also a twisty puzzle fanatic, who was driven to get this game!
Before I go into detail about this game, I will say that at least one of the puzzles are bugged. Specifically, I "solved" the Windmill Cube halfway through making progress, and it may or may not be the only shapeshifting puzzle that suffers from bug.
Who Shuffled My Shapes? is basically a PC game in the vein of everyone's favorite (or least favorite) childhood toy, the Rubik's Cube. It was made by the same devs behind the famous (and free to play) Coloring Pixels game, which I spent countless hours on for my casual playtime. I found out about this game through Coloring Pixels via its "bonus" book, looked into it, and figured it was up my alley since I love Rubik's Cubing. Not only does it feature the structure and functionality of said puzzle, but in total, there are twenty puzzles based on it of different shapes and sizes - Many of which are based on real, physical puzzles you can buy in a store.
When you start a puzzle, it automatically shuffles itself. Drag a side like you would an actual Rubik's Cube to move around its pieces, and attempt to solve it. There is an undo button which I think is very helpful in case I mess up a move combo, or algorithm, to solve a specific part of the puzzle. There is also an in-game timer, which I think is not TOO helpful, but goes by how quick you can solve it through the game itself (Occasionally, I can solve a physical Rubik's Cube in about a minute).
Though, be warned that getting all of the achievements may require you to solve every puzzle in the game. And you WILL need to learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube, as well as its easier and of course harder variations of it. You will need to look online for a good solution, especially on YouTube. But hopefully you can learn plenty from the Rubik's Cube when going through this completionist route. Speaking of which, while I'm learning how to solve the cube in the most optimal way, I had the idea of doing it on this game, especially when there is an undo feature present in case I screw up or want to analyse certain moves I make on it.
However, the game suffers from a few inconvenient flaws. As I said above, the Windmill Cube is bugged while I tried solving it - It eventually registered as a solved state. I hope the devs one day put some heart in this game more and fix this bug. Another slight problem (and not as harsh as the first one), is trying to move sides on some puzzles, especially the mirror puzzles. The clickboxes are precise and don't seem to hit the side I want to turn (just attempts to turn the an adjacent side it thinks I'm clicking on and sliding). Might be an issue trying to speedrun these puzzles if I may.
This is a simple game copying the puzzles of the Rubik's Cube category, and would be an excellent quickie if it weren't for the bugs I mentioned above. But still, I fairly like the state of this game right now and will try playing some more should I not get driven away from my nitpicking.

(Technically I mark this 3.5/5 but it's a solid 4/5 if the bugs are not too overwhelming or get fixed later!)

I really love these types of puzzles and I thought it was a fun game but there are a few bugs. However a few errors are expected of a game of this complexity early on. It's a great game and I hope to see some other puzzles too like higher order skewbs and megaminxes. I also thing there should me a way to customize the color scheme of the cubes with a "pallets" section in the settings. One thing that genuinely pissed me off was the wacky color scheme on the megaminx since white wasn't on the bottom and gray wasn't on top. I'll totally come back to this game if more gets added to it. Overall a good game.
