Surreal horror themed visual novel, with lots of branching paths, blood, tears and twisted pitch-black humour. You're playing as Ashia, who's forced to marry her slimy uncle, suffering from surreal nightmares at night. Then she meets Novalie. And then things gets REALLY strange.

Super underrated. Always loved Biscuit Placebo's games ever since I discovered You.Me.Hell in 2016.

This is a really good 'visual novel style game' that achieves a lot with minimal means. Script is quirky and well-written. The music is phenomenal. The story is gripping, controversial, and sad.

I just finished the game, I don't tend to write reviews or go out of my way to recommend any game whatsoever, but holy Jesus fucking Christ Im shocked, this was the best horror, no, any game, I've ever played, the concept of free will get introduced innocently, and in the softest way possible walks in like an axe killer and drags both the player AND the main character into the literal abyss, I'm rambling up until now but I can't find any shorter or easier way to explain this, it feels silly to say something like "oh yeah good game thumb up" after staring in awe at my computer after playing until the middle of the night and for the first time satisfied with a game, the exact amount of any different horror niche, the perfect use of 4th wall break, sarcastic remarks, and carefully building a horrific but very "real-real" word, I will say again that this game is NOT for children, the scenes and interactions while being perfectly written, are gut wrenching and nauseating (IN THE BEST WAY FOR A HORROR GAME!!!!!!!!!) I will continue thinking about this game for a very long time.

Really glad this story was written. I never identified with a main character so much. The graphic art style actually helped me through the disturbing events of this VN.

I believe I made the right choice! This is the story of a teenage girl who must use her wits and one strange alliance to deal with the awful fate she has been handed - being married to her uncle. This visual novel does away with the main pet peeve I have regarding other visual novels, which is the characters standing in one place while the dialogue suggests they are doing some sort of action not depicted. In this VN the events are usually written while no character portraits are present. Speaking of the character portraits, they are drawn in a style similar to the developer's previous games. They are simple but do not come off as being too "cutesy" for a dark story either, so I rather like them. The backgrounds are very pretty. The music is phenomenal. The story is very dark and certainly not for everyone but also can be heartfelt. I will be thinking of it for a while. I also enjoyed the cameo from Freja and the Sequel. There are some improvements I think could be made. I would really appreciate a "skip to next choice" button. A walkthrough would be good too. I've read the VN five times already and only received two different endings. While I can't recommend this to everyone because of its dark themes, I will recommend it to anyone who is even a little interested.

This is pretty much a very underrated story-based game. For just a price of $4, you can get into the life of Ashia, who's being forced to marry her uncle by her father with strict conservative life views, and being haunted by whatever the dark forests in her dreams are, and that mysterious blonde girl. Ashia pretty much lives with an unfair life and a depressing future. It is a serious story but with a mix of humor (and some parts with adult content too). The outcome of the story is impacted by the decisions you make, and has multiple endings too (for instance i got the "Tired Lover" ending). I can replay the story and see what ending there are this game has to offer. The controls are very simple, just either click on your mouse, or press the space button. If you like story based games with drama, humor, and horror mixed in it, this is for you. If you doubt buying it try the demo version first and see whether you like it or not.

There is something about this game, from my point of view a stunning visual interacting novel. I could hate it, if it wasn't for my own decisions that went too far... This game uncovered my wanted believings, but foremost them I thought I may not have. Never ever have I really asked myself who I am, going through this psychological thriller. Easily another playthrough, to maybe learn who I am, or who I want to be. This is crazy good game! Really scary though. Cudos!

what a day to be a lesbian I read it because the name is similar to my friend's nickname, Novalie? Novallion, Noufy. I discovered that the story is pretty much like her life too, lesbian with a strict family, planned marriage to an old man, also wanted to go to medical school but her dad who ALSO smokes tobacco said: "hell nah.", so uh yeah. She became and engineer lol who does that. sigh, anyways. Life is really unfair to women and this unbelievably incredible game taught me so. Should you buy it? no it's a mess, but I'll recommend it! btw her twitter/ @nuwufy
