Race! Beauty! Bugs! Reviews

Over the years I've played more driving games than I can count, but Race! Beauty! Bugs! is easily in the Bottom 3. I didn't expect a lot for $2.49 USD. And I got just what I expected. (Is the name simply a cheap way to ship a lousy game?) I have NEVER seen so many bots review a game! (ALL positive, natch!) Terrible physics, incredibly stupid AI, and vehicles that suddenly crash on a flat road alone. The game itself doesn't even know who's racing or who's in the lead. The controller only works while racing, not in menus, and there is no way to pause a race with the controller. On the plus side; beautiful graphics!

Race! Beauty! Bugs! Positives: + The first track dosent look awful + Some of the graphics are acceptable + The sports car is more or less the only car thats partly "driveable" Negatives: - Horrible steering (a drunken monkey would handle better) - Worst "physics" ever - Only one loud monotonus engine sound - The truck is just hopeless (much like the game itself) - A lot of bad and broken design - Cockpit view looks like a joke - No music (Killing Me Softly would be a suitable song) - AI is retarded at best - A whole lof of bugs - No fun - Open map tracks have no pointer to next checkpoint (making it almost impossible to know where to drive) - No options menu - Laughable retail price I wouldnt touch this if I were you even if it was for free. Its an insult to racing games. Unless you hate yourself, dont buy it. And even if you do, you dont hate yourself this much. Trust me. Total Score: 1.5/10 (And Im being kind here...)

Absolute scrap! There is no music (and if there is, it's barely audible), driving physics are practically non-existent (it doesn't matter if you drive on grass, sand or asphalt), monotonous engine noise, no custom player name (you're just called "Player 1"), no high score list, no track overview while driving. Save your money! Update: I was just informed, that his is not even a real game from them, but a FREE DEMO from the Unreal Engine from 2014: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_kJ5T1KurQ So: This is not only crap, this is a SCAM!
