The first game was nice and interesting and all, and I would like to say I enjoyed this game... but it has some MAJOR flaws that need addressed. The QTE events kept bugging out or crashing outright, It literally said [PLACEHOLDER] on multiple occasions because I didn't even WANT a hint button/option, or some other button I didn't know I needed to set or something dumb. On top of that, when the QTE wasn't physically impossible, sometimes it would just lock up the controls without initiating the event at all, causing a softlock anyway. Some of the keys weren't set by default, was it some of those? Annoying. Constant restarts and even needing to ALT-F4 because I can't even open the menu to quit out (or set the missing keys that I didn't know where the problem for 90% of the game. Literally fixed it on the LAST QT EVENT!) Really, replace [PLACEHOLDER] something more obvious and less "I never finished the game" like [Key not bound] or [Zoom Out Button] or whatever it was. Minor nitpicks: Not all the puzzles were intuitive. There are some setups that expect you to fail multiple times without any heads up as to why until you just guess the right answer, then go "I guess it was that?" after the fact. Even a few reports of people jumping through all these hoops and not getting credit for it, which doesn't surprise me given the broken events. Good things: I like the idea of the game, what it does do well is done quite well enough. It is a touch short for the price, but with the QTE nonsense I probably wouldn't have finished it if it was longer. It HAS a "Safe Mode" to counter the errors i had... (I assume.) I think playing it once in normal was enough, but I might do a second time to find all the hidden switches.
