I'm astounded: after 'Hitler vs. Stalin' I've found another truly profound game on Steam,
TYRONE vs COPS is a critique of American judicial failure, You start this game playing as Tyrone, an innocent Black man who did not do nothing wrong. In fact, he starts out his campaign without any points to invest into his stats, which very profoundly reflects the lack of opportunity Black men have in contemporary American life. This results in Tyrone not standing a chance when facing "Pigs" (as the game refers to policemen), dying quickly and getting awarded with the embarassing 'pussy' rank. This is a very jarring case of ludonarrative dissonance, as Tyrone is obviously a RN (look that up on Urban Dictionary) who don't take no shit from muhfuggin pigs. The hopelesness of lower class BIPOC people in the US is not just almost, but distinctively palpatable because of this game.
Play this game. Not because of gameplay, graphics, story or sound design. Play it for Justice. Make voices heard.
