very fun

Great game for speed runs and fast paced parkour

this game offers many quite diverse and fun levels.

game is short but fun, glitches are kind of present in some parts (last level sucks balls)

This game popped up in my Queue and was genuinely surprised when I started playing. It was honestly pretty fun and at it's price, it's worth it. Even as a speedrun refund (Which i won't do since i'm interested to see the future of this game). But none the less, pretty good and worth it. Controls aren't that hard to learn and the visuals are nice and simple. Maybe the Exit gates could be a little bit more visible but Eh it's fine. Honestly had a little bit more fun than i realised haha. But a few things you could probably add devs would be more levels, different design (Like how CLUSTER TRUCK sorta did it) But obviously keep the computer esk style... Maybe add a few more errors idfk, or maybe some enemies or different features, Hell even a boss level (Celeste style). Anyways, if you bought this... Hope ya'll have fun playing and speedrunning this! Another thing. The morse code was pretty cool and would actually be awesome if theres more.

It's a very fun and good jump and run game, especially if it is on sale. But there were a few things I didn't enjoy that much: First of all was the Chapter "Purgatory". I really didn't like the red instant kill walls. Not because they are a bad idea or anything. It's just they were hard to see sometimes. Sometimes I just died and didn't even knew why. So if those were a bit clearer to see it would be a lot better. Secondly I didn't like the part were the drones came in. Thats the part where I personally stopped playing for now. The drones just kill you if you can't kill them first in a few seconds and it can get pretty frustrating. I personally didn't think this game really needed this addition. I think the platforming alone was pretty entertaining enough. But thats just my opinion. And a little addition I thought at some levels the platforms just feel a bit off. I don't know why or how to describe it but it felt somehow a bit wrong. And the grappling hook felt a bit weird too, but nothing that really disturbs the fun. But even though the game has a few weak points I really enjoyed it. The movement feels really good and fast, I liked that very much. So if you like platforming games you should maybe give this game a try, especially if it is on sale.

6/10 Movements somewhat unpredictable, especially in mid air. You have to rotate around blocks if you try to do precise jumps. Dash energy should be shown and mid-air momentum loss is something I would change. Levels are OK, atmosphere is OK, you can give it a try if you love platform games

Normally I love games like this and Project Kunai should be no exception, however this game is busted. Iv wasted over 45 minutes just trying to wall climb, a basic feature of the game. I got to level 6 or 2-3 after getting lucky a couple times with previous walls. All I can do from this point on is run and jump into the wall praying. This may be a result of rebinding my jump and climb from space to control or it may be bad programming, but they only way I have a very high tolerance for jank, in fact this is my first negative review, but this game is unplayable for me. This isn't the games only offence just the worst one iv encountered. Mouse sensitivity changes randomly mid jump climb or wall run, sometimes you bounce into platforms you should have landed on, there no tutorial other than press button to do this. I cannot in good conscience recommend this game in its current state Update: It works fine the first time you enter a level but restart even once and the game seemly forgets what to do. I tried separating the jump and climb button but it didn't make a difference. The only way to make it work is to go to the main menu and reload the level after every try. This is not acceptable for a speed running game. Also all the key-binds appear to reset every time you go back to the menu except the climb but they don't actually change on you they just show their original values

Project Kunai is a grindable jump & run game in which you can easily spend several hours. To complete the levels you do not need alot of skill, but to get a good time you can put alot of effort into it. There is no leaderboard, that would be desirable. The developers have created a discord which is expected to be completed by February 6th. [u]Graphics: 7/10[/u] [i]The graphics are really basic. There are some cool effects for example if you dash.[/i] [u]Audio: 8/10[/u] [i]The music fits the game and tries to give you an adrenaline rush to push better times.[/i] [u]Levels: (5?)/10[/u] [i]I'm not sure if I'm on the last level, but it seems like it. Otherwise you dont see any upcoming levels. I'd wish more levels.[/i] This game is perfect for kids & teenagers. The requirements for the PC are minimal. Sometimes I realized that my mouse moved a little bit akward, but I'm not sure if thats the game fault. The price is fine if there are more levels.
