Iron Lung is an incredible experience. Few games have managed to hook me this hard. The atmosphere builds slowly, at first it feels a bit confusing, even tame, but the deeper you go, the more the tension ramps up. It becomes genuinely unsettling.
Its only real flaw? It’s too short. I found myself wanting more, more places to explore, maybe a touch of survival mechanics, and more strange things to discover in the depths. Still, what’s here is haunting, unique, and absolutely worth diving into.
Iron Lung 2 ? Pretty please :)

My favorite type of horror game! Just reading what it was based about got me interested in searching more to find more on this game on other games like this. I've been learning a lot about the universe for a while now, but the lore behind Iron Lung had me creeped out and interested. Maybe if it's just that I'm getting old and probably just preferring slower paced games, or not, it was atmospheric and nicely done. I like anything that makes me think creeped out but intrigued. Like Silent Hill, the mood is sad and depressing. I wanna imagine what that would look like...an ocean of blood. I'd play it again for how immersive it feels with the sub noises and whatever is going on out there. Hell yeah. 5/5

I bought the deluxe addition of this game a long while ago. A mixture of good word of mouth, the very positive review scores, and the movie being release (hopefully) soon finally drove me to get it. After finally playing and finishing it, I can confidently say this was extremely horrifying. This game instilled a feeling of pure dread in me from start to finish, never letting up and never giving me a moment to relax. From the word go the game slowly strips away any form of hope you have, bit by bit.
Creating such an oppressive atmosphere through its setting, game-play, and environment. I hated every second of it which is what I want in a horror game, and it achieved that in spades. It also helps that the game is relativity short so the fear factor remains while never overstaying its welcome.
A fantastic short horror experience that I am really glad I checked out. Now I'm even more excited for how the movie will turn out.

Short and sweet horror game. Relies on lore and atmosphere and not much on jump scares. Recommended.

An incredibly well realised short horror sci fi game. It is claustrophobic, tense, and also somehow has little moments of zen. It did an amazing job of making me invested in its short runtime. I’m still thinking about the world and what else I could have discovered. It’s probably not for everyone, but I absolutely loved it.

Love a good horror game. This one is terrifying if you can't read graphs. That jump scare got me but otherwise, it was pretty straight forward.

Every time, I knew it was going to explode, and I still jumped when it did.

Iron Lung is best experienced when you know absolutely nothing about it besides its gameplay and genre. It's not that long but it's very effective. The game builds fear and tension in a really unique way and progressively has you feeling all sorts of things. There's lore to learn and scares to be had even with its short length. At first I really did struggle with the gameplay, but when I learned how maps and navigation work, my brain finally dusted off the cobwebs and started going. At that point, I was FOCUSED. Full immersion from the music, sound design, and unique style. Iron Lung had tensions high and me pulled in all the way. A small game that's 100% worth experiencing. 10/10.
