'Vector Elite' is a puzzle/strategy game in which you have to kill a set number of training dummies in each level. Some are in plain sight, but others are hidden behind walls and platforms. With only 3 bullets you have to do some thinking about how to kill them all and if you want 3 stars on each level you have to do this with a single bullet. You can use Portal-style teleport wormholes to do this or you can use bouncing off walls and your shield. With over 40 levels there is a fair amount to do here and you will easily get your money's worth if you try and get the 3 stars (or bullets as they are in this game) on all the levels.
While it is fun and it does get the old brain working it is also unnecessarily fiddly. I mean, why I have only got one gun? Why not a firing gun and a teleport gun? And why two buttons to fire the teleport holes, why not just have one button for both of them?!? Then there is the boring graphics. There is simply nothing to look at here and no variety at all no matter what level you are playing. Heck, it doesn't even change the colour of the cubes to tell you you are on a different stage! While I do still give this the thumbs up it needs a lot of work to be truly worth the rather steep asking price. But the issues here are small and can easily be fixed with a few updates. It's not going to be for everyone so do check out my gameplay video of it before you make a purchase - https://youtu.be/6GSONRUUiA8
