A very good but very short expeerience: Video-Walkthrough (do not watch it, if you want to play): https://youtu.be/mTISAiiRQII

This took me by surprise. In a absolutely unexpectedly positive way, I guess (?). Since I struggle with some of the ideas Vladimir told in this short story, I felt it almost as thousands of ants would crawl on me or... goose bumps occurred (ba-dum-tss). This is definitely worth the money. Will keep it! Thanks, Vladimir! <3 PS. Raisins are OK.

Highly recommended. It's a 10-minute game that's basically an interactive comic book. It tells a little story about trying to process suicidal thoughts and negotiating what you want to want with what you're capable of doing. It makes you interact with the ideas and be engaged. Even if it's only a few clicks, it makes you not just a passive observer. I really liked it.

I saw the description and I was intrigued because I've been feeling sort of the same for a few years. Playing the game, the message really resonated with me and I don't feel quite as alone as I did ten minutes ago before playing. I like the art style a lot too. I'm glad I played this.

I was looking for a nice little indie game and found this one purely coincidencecial. it looked really cute and lovely animated, witch is was. i really liked the lightnes and the animations of the duck game and the serious note on the other hand struck with me. id like to play some futre games of yours when you´ve grown up. until then

Normally interactive stories, especially ones that deal with mental illness, are my jam but this was just kind of....I don't know. It only takes about 5-10 minutes to read through and short length isn't inherently bad but I just kinda felt this was too short to really have any impact. It's pretty obvious the game is heavily influenced by Florence, and I would very much recommend that game instead, if you're okay with a story that doesn't focus on mental illness. The beginning bit with the birds was very cute, and I did like the general vibe this was going for - I just think it needed a bit more of everything

A deep story about [strike]a goose[/strike], [strike]a person[/strike], the developer constipating about their life and worries, but ends it with an optimised message
to keep trying no matter the circumstance.
WARNING: Mention of suicide
A Short, Touching Experience
I'm going to be very honest with this review, as this game is very honest with its players. Mild spoilers ahead. If you don't want any spoilers than know that I do think this game is worth the $1. The first time I played Late Bird, I didn't like it, I really didn't. There's 2 parts to this game, The bird section, and the deeply personal section where the developer goes into his own personal experience with life. At first the almost instantaneous tone switch caught me off guard and I hated it. I hated how quickly the game went from this story about a goose, to this raw dive into someone's personal thoughts and experiences about suicidal thoughts, and the struggle that went through. It wasn't until I played it a second time that I realized the genius game design in this game. I hated the switch in tone so much because that's how life really is. Life isn't a simple, cute story. Life is brutal and can change in a second. You can go from being perfectly happy to being at rock bottom in a split second. While the game is very short, perhaps a little too short, every line in it has reason, and some of the lines in this game are extremely thought provoking and cut deep. The developers story is one that many people will be able to relate to, and I'm sure it has helped many people realize they're not alone, and that's something the developer should be extremely proud of. It's not easy to open up to people, let alone put those feelings into a game, and put your name on it. For that, the developer has my respect. I was going through Steam for a fun and short game and this really caught my eye with the game description. I went through the same questioning last year and finally ended up reaching out for help. I came into 2022 with more purpose, meaning and motivation for myself and slowly started to let go of everything that weighed me down. This was nicely scripted and I definitely loved every piece! Thank you for the experience!!

Ran across it and played because of the few reviews. It's a nice, but short surprise. It is a wonderful game for those that might need a reminder of how to continue moving forward when you least want to.
