Painfully hard, like 85% of people couldn't reach the second point on the main map (out of 12) according to achievements. And as of writing only 3 people have completed it at all (i still haven't) But it feels good, and is fun in a group. And the editor for custom maps is surprisingly well featured.

this game is great for someone who is a fan of games like getting over it which i am. very simple in concept but executed well however there is one thing which bothers me. the hitbox of the character is a pill shape which is ok for most things but when you are trying to land jumps you can sometimes almost make a jump but hit a wall. in these cases, if you try to jump forward you will go flying off of the platform you are trying to land on because the bottom of the hitbox is at an angle to the edge of the platform. to actually land on the platform you have to jump almost directly upwards which takes time in a game where i like to go very fast. other than that i love this game.

After about 30 hours I finally beat the game and the will to live is still intact! Fantastic!

I don't have much time in the game yet, but let me tell you, this game is very well made. It feels great to play, and finding shortcuts is rewarding, this game isn't one that is exists to waste your time and make you mad, it wants to provide a challenge that is fair while giving you very clever tools that makes learning convenient. Definitely a buy.

Fun game, fun concept, fun map, however: some of the clicks, at random, will just not register. This stops my movement, and 80% of the times when I fall happen because of this, not even because of any skill issue. Someone in a different review said something about an invisible overlay? I don't know. Either way, this COMPLETELY ruins the experience for me. I'll turn this into a positive review and attempt to beat the game as soon as it gets fixed. I'd love to know when it does.

Super well crafted & underrated game, but it needs checkpoints (optimally few and far between) for the game's own sake. The lamppost's range limitation totally nullifies its usefulness. If necessary, make it so checkpoint users don't show up on the leaderboards. This game's fun for the first half hour, then gets boring and stale as hell after that, as you're just traversing the same landscape over & over again, because you respawn in the same location over & over again, to do the same bits of level over & over again. The overall game experience is less of a 'great, i've made it to a new area' and moreso of a 'great, i've got to do this all over again.' There's a reason why, as of typing this, only three people ever beat this game, & only 20% of people ever even made it to the second zone. Let niche players do niche things & be rewarded for it, rather than punishing everyone outside of that minuscule population. This game has lots of potential, but it all ends up unfortunately being reduced to something shallow and redundant because of having to repeat the same sections over & over. Still gets an A for effort though 👍, you can definitely tell that genuine care and devotion was put into making this

Stickit, when you play for the first time, will present you with a seemingly impossible task. Obtain the Golden Stick. I initially thought this was going to be another rage game like Jump King or Getting Over It, but for some reason I don't find myself getting upset when I fail, and I think that is largely due to the fact that the controls are actually incredibly responsive and intuitive, every fall can only be blamed on your own mistake, and that will drive you to get better, and beat it the next time. Learning each obstacle is a slow ordeal. Most of the time you can get away with using practice lamps, but other times there's no other choice but to turn it off and put all your hard work on the line for the sake of progress. 9 times out of 10 you will fail horribly, but every time you get just a little bit closer to the finish line. It's very rewarding to discover new shortcuts to take, master them, and slowly get closer to the top. Obviously I'm nowhere near the Golden Stick even after 8 hours of trying over and over again, and I may never get it, but that rush you get when you finally beat that next obstacle only grows as you play. If you have $5 to spare on a game, you'll have an issue finding a better platformer to spend it on than this. 9/10 would recommend. Only issue is sticking to corners when jumping straight up.

genuinely a fantastic game - absolutely criminal that it is such a small unknown game. it's extremely skill based, it has a speedrun timer built into the game, it has multiplayer so you can race with your friends, there's toggles for parts of the UI that you don't want to see, there's even a toggle to view where you failed in all your previous runs as well as a counter for the time and fails you have total. also worth mentioning there is a level editor so there's a lot of content potential by playing custom maps too. the community for this game, although small, seems extremely friendly as well and the developer pays attention to feedback and bugs (as an example i saw someone post a glitch in discord and there was a hotfix uploaded within 10 minutes). genuinely nothing bad to say about this game, other than it's HARD even as someone with thousands of hours of bhop/surf/kz on csgo
