"just one more wave" quickly becomes "just one more level" and before you know it dinner's cold and you might as well just carry on.. besides you've got those extra perks now so you might be able to complete Lucky Ranch flawlessly...
Between the simple and effective gameplay loop and satisfying sound design (I love the Exploder) this game draws you in and keeps you entertained. Definitely worth giving a shot

I am really impressed with this Tower Defense title - it's great to see something new in the genre - "timing your train" (words I have never used before!).
Graphics are good and appropriately themed western music is not too annoying.
The game is not easy and you have to think through your tower placements and combinations - I like the way the game throws various challenges at you - this brings about heightened expectancy when you start a new level. If you are stuck, you can just move to a new level and approach any problems later (maybe with increased perks).
Seems to be a very good value for money title.

The objective of Save the Llama is to create a safe environment for your llamas by meticulously cramming as many hilariously-voiced booming, buzzing, pew-ing, and zapping anti-UFO towers you can fit on a single platform. The llamas will reward your obsessive over-engineering by only periodically being abducted by that one fast-moving ship that keeps evading the wrath of the Tesla megastructure you built on a rotating gear in the middle of the desert.
STL is easy to pick up and play and won't punish you for abruptly taking a break or for losing your favorite llama. Maps can be restarted at any time if you end up feeling like 6 windpump guns on a train is safer for your llamas than 4 catapults on a cog, even though the right answer is always all the Teslas on an anything. Perk points will help you squeeze more out of your preferred anti-alien strategies as the game progresses and gets more difficult.
Every time I launch this game I spend quite a bit more time playing than I intended to. Fun sound design, cool music, an addictive game loop, and silly vibes keep me stuck in it. Great indie gem.
