An Absolute Gem of a Game!
This game is a visual delight, with its charming cartoon-style art that brings every scene to life. At its core, it tells a simple yet deeply heartfelt story, sprinkled with unexpectedly dark moments that add depth and intrigue. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure—ideal for unwinding while getting lost in an immersive experience.
The puzzles are enjoyable without being frustratingly difficult, which, for me, only added to the appeal. I wasn’t looking for a mind-bending challenge—I wanted a game that I could sink into effortlessly, and this one delivered beautifully.
The atmospheric soundtrack enhances the journey, drawing you further into its enchanting world, while the characters are wonderfully crafted, each with their own charm and personality.
Although it won an award as a children’s game, I can confidently say that it captivated me as an adult. It’s a joy from start to finish, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, engaging experience. Here’s hoping for another installment in the series—or more games like this in the future!

A short, but beautifully hand drawn adventure in a Don Bluth Artstyle (Secret of Nimh; Charlie – All dogs go to heaven). The game is well worth the money because you can just feel the love poured into this game. The backgrounds are also gorgeous, hand drawn with aquarelle colours! The cut-scenes are also look amazingly good, like those good old movies.
But expect some slight jankiness with the controls, I had some problems with delays which where noticeable in the clocktower section.

Good game but very simple in terms of the gameplay and the story. I feel like this game is catered more towards a child because of this, instead of this mid-30s millennial. I bought it because the artistic direction reminded me of 90s movies like Oliver & Company and it did not disappoint. This game is beautiful from start to finish.
The gameplay consists of simple platforming from left to right for about 85% of the game. The other 15% is experimental such running towards the screen, running from a vehicle. As for the story, I don't want to ruin it because of how simple it is, but it definitely reminds me of one of plots from my childhood era cartoons.
I would say the simplicity is a negative but not a strong negative. As for some nitpick, there is a ledge climb mechanic that occurs often and the animation is very slow and annoying, waiting for the cat to climb the ledge. It happens a lot. Another would be how tedious the achievements are: waiting some-odd minutes, doing something x-number of times, and replaying the game but faster. Apparently you can beat the game in 45 minutes.
Overall, it's a good game with amazing visuals, mediocre story, and simple gameplay. I recommend it for nostalgia or for the art, not for the story or the gameplay.
