WOW! This is a shocker to me! ..A developer who actually used LUA to code in some inventory items and more in a GAMEGURU game!! I even saw a lot of new assets in this game that I've never seen in any other GameGuru game!
..Sadly, it's broken AF. ..And it still suffers from so many problems that almost every GameGuru game has such as horrible textures, terrible enemy AI, and more.

I give this developer high props for actually putting in what i feel is a LOT of effort into this however. I feel if he put this same amount of effort into a good game engine such as Unity or Unreal that his effort would produce much better results.
My Score is a 25%, just because I applaud his effort actually coding in GameGuru and also making me smile and laugh when I played this title. That's worth something I guess.. just not nearly worth $12! Haha.
In the end, this is still a NOT RECOMMEND sadly, as much as I want to like and applaud his effort. Maybe this game would be worth it to some Steam users if the price were dropped to a dollar or two. I don't know. It is definitely not worth the $12 USD asking price here at launch however.

This game comes off as a home brew learning project that should not be published.
I noted that the game has no reviews so I grabbed it to yell FIRST. The following are the issues I have with the game from start to quit:
The main menu title doesn't fit, has white background, play has black shadow, load button and the other button are missing... Also the music should be a bit softer or faded.
Once ingame, escape and go to the settings to turn down that obnoxious ambient noise and axe the music. The slide bars for these settings is extremely thin despite the style they are using for the UI.
No confirmation inquiry when you click the main menu button. I accidently clicked it and got yeeted to the main menu which is a bit annoying and probably resets the game on the player. I also note that the game loads the music before it loads the user's settings which results in like half of a second of a loud beep before the music gets nerfed.
E or R opens your UI which honestly has a decent trim style but the text fields are lacking an alpha background which results in a opaque box behind the text. Kinda poor form to not have this fixed while developing it..
The game has a really pretty grenade model and a total trash "rifle" model. Rifle is apparently a shotgun with crap pellets and massive recoil. At least it comes with 1k shots... Also, what the fuck was that sfx when the mantis thingy died? While I find it hillarious, it is grossly inappropriate for a survival game, lmfao.
The Geologist dialogue typos aside, this fucker says something along the lines of "we need to go find some shit at the old base" and then "goodluck!"... bastard. Lol. I note that this game has the default Game Guru icon. This needed fixed before a price tag was put on it...
Found some "gold", not sure if it was the liquid or the rock in the middle of it but apparently I traded my stamina for gold? I have no clue as the menu disappeared quickly and provided no feedback other than whatever stamina % I was at went to zero.
Giant scorpion didn't react to me shooting it to death within kicking distance... It walks around but is lacking any other AI it seems. Another red flag... Walked up to a praying mantis to see if it had an AI. It makes sure to face you, turning at like 15 degree angles instantaneously. It walks MEGA slow and if you walk up to it to give it a hug, it donks you, you fall over with your screen going red and you respawn. Okay... trash mob oneshots. Another red flag.
After dying, I respawned with my screen red notifying me that I am thirsty for water... bad respawn design... Also instead of drinking water, apparently I am refilling it. Lol. I then went and exchanged my stamina for gold again and lost 2/3 of my hp instantly because I became "hungry". It ordered me to go back to the pod for food. I decided that meant alt+F4, review and refund.
I'm not going to debug and proof a game for someone that hasn't even put in the minimum effort to do it once over themselves. This should not be shelved.
