It's Kiki's delivery service with stronger anticapitalist messaging and even cuter graphics. Not every game needs to have 500 hours of content, this game proves it. I'm excited to see whatever these same devs make next.

Absolutely loved this game. It's charming, adorable, characters are likable, visuals are great, dialog is great, music is fantastic, game play is simple but fun, story is simple but great, and if you're going for 100% (achievements included) you have at least 12 to 13 hours of game play! I followed this game through it's development and I am not disappointed! Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice good cozy game!

i honestly tried to give the game a shot, but:
the writing feels too shallow, despite the... interesting character designs. it all pretty quickly falls flat imo and i honestly couldn't handle the many little things that caught me off guard and made me deflate in my chair.
all retail workers playing this will die inside upon hearing the child's employer stating "i consider my employees as Family"
the gameplay itself honestly could have been fun, if i hadn't smacked into several invisible walls within the first 15-30 minutes of the game's 20-30 minute long Tutorial-Land ride. beyond that, the wide open spaces and neat looking structures all looked very fun to fly around and through... emphasis on looked, since proper full free-roam flight isn't achievable even in the first 72 minutes i played, while actually finishing deliveries in the hopes to quickly get a proper free-flying broom.
also adults tricking children into dangerous child labor is only a good plot tool for a story when the writing is good enough to not make the player feel gross for playing a child making dangerous deliveries.

This game tries to be a few things, but fails at all of them. It's not mechanically rich enough to be engaging. The flying is too simple, too limited, and too fidgety to be fun. The characters are in the uncanny valley of quirk. Too quirky to be believable, but not quirky enough to be charming.
In essence, this game is just a fetch quest with bad traversal for characters you won't like.

cute but repetitive game that's kiki's delivery service in game form, fly around, hand out parcels to residents and just vibe for a few hours (be warned if you turn volume down in-game though, cutscenes do NOT turn down at all)

Mika is so cute and so fun! I love playing it and its runs really smoothly. The music is also a delight! The lore of Mount Gaun is fun and the game has a lot to do without overstaying its welcome. A must play if you love a cozy game!

This game is very difficult to play on the steam deck. The controls are horrid, unplayable I have tried to get by the first days quest and it is not allowing me to do it. Very disappointing.

Mika and the Witch's Mountain is a wonderfully charming game. I bought it on a whim for my 5 year old daughter and we just finished it tonight. Now she's flying around the island introducing Edgar the bird to all of the friends she met along the way. She spent hours flying around the island exploring while I did the reading (including my best impression of a Scotsman for O'Vel) and helped with some of the more fragile deliveries.
We played it on my Steam Deck hooked up to the TV and never had any stability issues.
She does have one small request though. An artbook, ideally with colouring pages.
