Honestly I wanted to like this game, but it just feels like work. I don't play games to feel like an Amazon driver.

a charming little game, with around 2+ hr playtime for main story and another hours or two for completion and side objectives, the main mechanic of the game which is the flying; could feel a bit off at first but you can get the hang of it after you get your first upgrade. i personally believe that this might be a great foundation and idea for a sequel or a new game all together but with bigger scale and replay value, because unfortunately as of the time i write this review, there is barely any end game content left to do, the whole map is fairly small and simple, so by just playing the main story, you already explore all there was in the map and even complete most of the side objectives since both main and side quest can be unknowingly done simultaneously. the thing that could really be expanded upon was the entire delivery gimmick of the game, as of current version of the game i played, after you finish all the main story delivery request and all the side delivery ones, there aren't any way to do more delivery either for challenge or just for the fun of it. the game could really use some fun end game content that revolve around delivery with time limit (cuz there are only a handful of it in the main quest, and most of it was just a bit too easy), or hard/restricted delivery route with fragile item, anything that can be done multiple time just for funsies the current end game they offer mostly resvolve around collectathon type of activities and some fly couse/puzzle exploration via the churos and dungeon updates, with no real delivery end game to be enjoyed i would still give it positive review for the concept and potential the dev could hopefully utilize on better scale next time the decide to do a sequel or game with similar nature, cuz i would really love me some of those Death Stranding's strand games replayability but with sunny happy whimsical Kiki's Delivery Service this game tries to deliver. Tl;dr, i want more delivery endgame and content the game is fairly cheap, but you might argue base on the review i gave that it might not worth the full price, so yeah if you really interested, buy it on sale or on bundle if any available

I loved the look of the game but the controls are garbage from weird and unchangeable controller to overlapping the S on keyboard (at least in the controls displayed in the options) seriously what is the dev doing I'm almost tempted to find a way to make my keyboard swap S with something else like C just to avoid that issue... can't see myself ever accepting Y as a jump on a controller either, that's just sick and wrong.

a bit barebones and while I was looking for a cozy, relaxing game this one just made me stressed instead. Cool concept tho.

This is one of the cutest and cozy games I have enjoyed playing in a LONG time. The art style is amazing and the puzzles are fun. Really happy I backed this game!

A great game when you need something lighthearted and simple. Death Stranding walked so this could run. Will likely return to 100% it at a later date.

A cute and "cozy" game you can spend a couple of hours in, exploring the island, flying on your broom and solving problems for villagers. The fine controls are a bit wonky on keyboard, but nothing gamebreaking. Recommend if the cozy moniker doesn't instantly turn you off.

It's a cute game that succeeds at being the thing it's trying to be, but it's not what I was hoping for. The game seems well suited to little kids being introduced to games with it's young protagonist and fairly simple goals and challenges. Outside the very obvious signposted quests you progress fairly linearly to proceed there are sidequests and collectibles for a little extra challenge. Unfortunately the skill ceiling seems pretty low and the game artificially gates you off from exploring beyond your current progression with invisible barriers constantly. You only gain new movement abilities (and remove some invisible walls) by progressing the primary questline. Side objectives generally just give access to cutesy cosmetics. Because of that exploration feels pretty unrewarding. I went into the game hoping for fun exploration and movement that seems like it would follow from a game like this, but it's a bit surface level and heavily signposted with guardrails to keep you from exploring too far. Again, it's well made and seems fitting for it's intended audience, but sadly that isn't me.

Kiki's Delivery Service: The Game. A fabulously charming game with gorgeous art and fantastic music. Solid enough gameplay to go with a heartwarming tale full of learning and growing. I adore games with as much heart and passion as this one.

Very strong Kiki's Delivery Service vibes right out the gate with a beautiful animated sequence. The Ghibli magic is, however, short-lived. Mika and the Witch's Mountain puts a bit *too* much emphasis on deliveries without adding enough supplementary content. This makes gameplay feel repetitive and the charm fizzle. Chibig needs to create interest with more mini games and further encourage exploration. For instance, more secret areas (behind waterfall *cough*) and doors that are accessible like Zelda games, which sometimes let you snoop on NPC diaries and find extra currency as a reward for that effort. The Churro Express races were a fabulous addition and are a nice throwback to Mail Mole without any of the fiendish difficulty. Mika and the Witch's Mountain doesn't reach its full potential, but that ending was a lovely twist indeed. PS - Unless you are a completionist or enjoy very cerebral puzzles (think OOT Water temple) please avoid the dungeons! Extremely convoluted and huge difficulty spike. Need to be more balanced (wind dungeon is perfect) and included as main quest prerequisites (better game direction) to reach Mount Gaun.
