good game to pass the time

18 minutes to do all the puzzles, and I am in my 60's. Too short, the art is mediocre, the pics are small, and the backgrounds are reused in all puzzles.

If you can get it on special, you can enjoy a simple jigsaw puzzle for 15mins. The puzzles are exactly the same, with only the anime girl being slightly different in each one. The background is the same, the puzzle pieces are the same and go in the same spot in every level. So why am I giving a positive review? Simply because it's practically impossible to find any sort of game with anime art that ISN'T "lewd". With this puzzle I can finally just look at cute anime art without unexpected 18+ content.

The same background 12 times. no rotation of pieces, so you memorize where the pieces go after the first few puzzles. Quickest/easiest 100% game. Grab it when it's on sale if you want an easy perfect / 3 achievements, otherwise, don't waste your money. Nothing offensive in here like other anime girl puzzle games have, but settings are very lacking; no option to resize, so you're kind of stuck in fullscreen.

Anime Jigsaw Girls - Christmas is a jigsaw puzzle type game with 12 levels, each of them a 6x6 grid. Every image is almost exactly the same; there is a single background for all 12, with only the girl being different but they're all more or less the same pose in more or less the same outfits; they might as well be all the same girl. The images themselves are all 404x404 low-resolution junk. The music is an endless loop of what sounds like a 1980s MIDI synthesized 30 second version of jingle bells that'll make your ears bleed if you don't turn it off. This game is a complete and total ripoff, it's not worth your time, let alone your money.

I always thought one criterion for such games to count to your 100% completion is the acceptable amount of reviews it has. This one doesn't even have a dozen, yet, you'll be happy to know [i]Steam is not learning about this game[/i] anymore. Now, the issue with these games (and with many released by [i]DIG Publishing[/i]) is that they are extremely barebone and very much identical. Look at the "puzzles" this game has to offer: each picture has the same background (with the Xmas tree on the left) and the sole difference is the girl replacement. So, they do not pose any challenge - instead, you'll learn how to complete them faster as you make progress. And that's it. 3 'cheevos always: one for the completion of your first puzzle, one for fully completing the game and one for spending more than 5 minutes with one picture. Then you can check the images in a separate menu called gallery. Images are not even high quality / resolution and cannot be zoomed in. There is music that can be turned off and on in the lower-left corner. If you click a couple of times it glitches out and the status shown is the opposite of its function (it will be "on" when the music is actually off). You can play these games for easy completion just know that the series offers the same experience. It's almost literally a copy-paste without any sense of quality control.
