I'm only five hours in, and I have to say—Lodventure is shaping up to be a serious grind fest. The gameplay loop feels like an endless cycle of collecting resources just to repair your constantly breaking gear. That might be tolerable if there were meaningful progression, but the skill system is incredibly underwhelming.
You earn skill points, allocate them into different abilities, and... nothing really changes. The skills feel almost cosmetic—like fake skills. Whether you put points into mining, combat, or anything else, the result feels exactly the same. There's no real sense of power growth or satisfaction.
On top of that, the game just feels shallow. There's a core idea here that could be fun, but it desperately needs a deeper, more impactful skill tree—something that actually makes you excited to level up and experiment with builds. As it stands now, Lodventure is too repetitive and lacking in meaningful progression to keep my interest.
If you’re looking for a satisfying loop of grind and reward, this one doesn’t quite deliver.
