These are actually really good items to have but are not worth 3 dollars. For people that have some type of OCD and want to balance all the levels, Tome is a great item to have as you get new characters at lower levels. Plunderer's Pendant actually comes quite handy, as some sidequest related content is hidden behind a literal 1 million coin price tag. Every little coin counts, and as you battle it really adds up. Cuts down the need to grind so heavy for coins, but I suppose people might not mind it anyways. Potion pack is a literal potion pack. They're actually quite expensive early-mid game because you're literally broke poor and they're about 100-300 a pop for just regular potions, but if you prepare and strategize you'll be fine. One thing to note: You will get these every file you create. So if you decide to play on harder difficulties, that potion pack and pendant will come in really handy, REALLY fast in early game until you can squeeze out more coins through grinding. Not worth it if you're playing on easy difficulty. Could be argued for it's use in normal. 4.5/5. Get it on discount and only if you're playing anything above easy/storymode.

Full of minor potions like hp, mana, mana/hp, and minor revival potions. Useful for the start like usual with JRPG's but can be used up either quickly or never depending on how you play. The exp/gold trinkets are nice though and don't get replaced right away. I'd say get it if you want to support Airship Syndicate, if not there's nothing lost then if you don't get it.

Don't buy the starter pack. As a fool who bought the deluxe edition, i can tell. This is useless. It's not hard to farm gold and the potions are not that expensive. Of course, it is useful if you have them, but the items you get from this pack definitely ain't worth 3 bucks.

Not great, but not terrible either. On higher difficulties, early potions can make or break a fight, especially if it's not feasible to make it to the next Rest point. The 10% gain on gold and experience is not bad, but these effects are minimal over time and frankly, can be replicated with some grind farming of respawning monsters / other in-game items with these traits. The biggest issue I have with the Starter Pack is the tradeoff against combat stats in the early game, when the pendant and trinket take up a valuable slot that could be used for higher-stats items. That said, it's only an early-game issue: once you gain your fourth party member, combat stats become a non-issue for the 'away' Champion (you can only have three Champions active in your party at any time) so popping the pendant and trinket on the 'away' Champion will give you a miniscule boost to your progress over time. Still, is it worth the price? I don't recommend it unless you're an avid collector. Progress in the base game is just fine without any of this additional content.

The trinkets I am still using on my 8th hour of the game since they seem to be the rarest gear to find. The potions were super handy since I decided to start my first play-through on the hardest difficulty. Would recommend this via the Deluxe edition but not out-right.
