Fun take on roguelike platforming. Definitely has some translation issues and was slow to get rolling (when starting just died over and over and over and restart time is a little drawn out). Once you start leveling up skills and weapons and whatnot, it gets way more fun. I love the depth and, while not for everyone, I've enjoyed the snarky tone so far. For fans of: dead cells, rogue legacy.

Didn't enjoy the demo of this game, but bought the game on sale because I enjoyed Aeterna Noctis and wanted to give it a chance. There's a TON of content in this game. I love it. I'm 20 hrs in and haven't unlocked or seen but maybe 15% of the content. Combat and traversal is tight and engaging(it handles just like Aeterna Noctis.) The only cons I can think of for the game would be that the bats and one hit flying enemies always run inside of walls & you have to bait them out by running away. Kind of annoying. Other than that, good game and great studio. Looking forward to Aeterna Lucis

You're better off grinding out Spanish than grinding out this game. That way you'll at least be able to understand a large chunk of the dialogue that's supposed to be in your native language. And unironically, the progress in this game pays out like an exploited seasonal worker too. It also has Easy Anti-Cheat still, despite the vulnerabilities and stating they would remove it like the original game. Doesn't state it on the store page. Abandoned game after a year+ of saying they're working on things.

Cannot recommend. It is not fully localized. By that I mean that certain conversations are in spanish when you are set to English. The developer has known this for over a year and has not fixed this. I also had it do Chinese? when I paused during a boss fight. How can a developer not fix this in that amount of time. Also there is a hardlock in the game when trying to get a specific weapon. You have to Alt+F4 to close the game. Again, developer has known for over a year. Their tutorials are bad and if you ever forget anything half of them have no way to get back to the tutorial. I also had the game completely freeze and the screen go crazy when I died to a boss once which I then had to do an Alt+F4. None of these should be happening to a game like this. The amount of achievements is crazy... 160!!!!!!! If you look at the amount of people that played the game there are so many achievments that less than 5% of the people got which tells you that many people just gave up on the game. The game is abandoned. Also the grind is ridiculous. For these reason I have to say DO NOT PURCHASE!!!! Highly do not recommend. I will probably play a few more hours since I would like to hit a certain percentage on achievements for my OCD otherwise this would have been an uninstall at like 6 hours. Edit: Yeah driving home I thought about playing this and I would rather deal with my OCD than play this game anymore. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!

Meh. For the first 6 hours or so you're intrigued by the high difficulty and interesting worlds. I also found the dialogue clever. There is nothing glaringly wrong with how your character controls and combat can be fun. Problem is it's pretty repetitive -- not enough variation in worlds or enemies. Biggest problem is that there are way too many types of currency and the meaningful upgrades (ie, a new weapon) cost way too much. You end up grinding way too much, experiencing the same content over and over. Also, nothing is ever explained so your method of getting XYZ currency is not obvious. The game is not well-documented online either. It's not bad to play, just very flawed -- could be a sale buy if it's cheap.
