Great little game! Fun for both adults and kids!
Reminds me a lot of Little Big Planet, in a good way.

Great gameplay! Inventing new constructions is pure fun. Super nice playing together on one screen. Perfect for cozy winter evenings with friends and family. I am excited about the full release and more planets to travel to. Definitely a recommendation.

This game is so much fun but gotta admit it almost passed me by. I've been playing so many bit RPGs and action games that I didn't realise how much I needed to just chill with a platformer that also offered so many hrs (without the stress of time) to creating funky vehicles and inventions. This is a great game to play with friends and already got some time lined up with mine of Discord. It's so much fun. Grab this game.

I expected a game where you build contraptions to solve puzzles. You control both arms separately similarly to human fall flat or struggling. In those games it's to be expected but I didn't expect that from this game and therefore it only added to my frustration since it became incredibly clunky to control. The contraptions you build are very basic, or at least from what I saw, and offers no more building than in some mobile games.
I'd wish that they focused on the building aspect, adding more parts such as pistons, logic, bearings etc and drop the whole ''struggle to control your character'' aspect. I thought this would be similar to bad piggies, world of contraptions, scrap mechanic challenge mode.

Dude, Fix these controls. No momentum with the arms, where is the swinginess. where is the momentum? SWINGING WITH YOUR ARMS IS NOT FUN AT ALL because you don't swing and kind of hold yourself with max power at the end of your grip and levitate across. So far this is gonna need some work for me to consider a playthrough.

Couldn't get online co-op working. My friends could join me and I could join my friends, but no matter what we would get disconnected within 30 seconds.

This game is Great! in an era of overcooked clones and generally chaotic coop games, this stands above the rest in gameplay, clarity, innovation and fun.
Ill write some negatives and criticism in a second but don't let that fool you, its a really fun and great game!
- The graphics and gameplay are great. Everything is bright and chunky, but still is clear and responsive.
- Soundtrack is generally good, might get repetitive if you're too much into it.
- The game is easy to learn, with the small exception of the arm physics, which might have a steeper learning curve, but when you master them they feel great too.
- The story is ok for a game of this type, the world is open which is a negative for the story, as you can skip some parts even if you don't mean to, but its also a positive for gameplay, as it really gives you that open feeling of being able to go anywhere.
- The game could use some more content, but there are extra available levels in the workshop made by the devs themselves, which is a big plus.
2 Big Suggestions:
Workshops could / should restrict how many of a certain item you can put into your contraptions. Restriction breeds innovation! Imagine a level where you need to go through a series of trials with only one wheel! Or you need to get through a lava maze with a single indestructible rod. It really makes mapping more fun if you can place more refined restrictions on contraptions. The campaign could also benefit from it, as it might make things a bit more challenging.
A way to replay some parts of the game. When you go through the main universe, if you did something, its done, no way to go back. I've been playing solo and with friends, and I always need to create a new profile to be able to redo some things with them after i did them solo.
Overall its still 5/5! GO GET IT NOW AND MAKE ME SOME MORE WORKSHOP LEVELS!

I'm far from finished but a fantastic game so far! It's rare to see a proper spiritual successor to Little Big Planet. The building and puzzles are fun and open for creative solutions and I can't believe how well it works in coop.
Definitely play this with friends! I hope this game finds more success (which it deserves).

Very very promising game with some caveats - it's definitely something of interest to people who love Nuts & Bolts, Bad Piggies or even Fantastic Contraption. The early crux of the game is traversing a planet to recover rocket parts (plus other secrets) and you have a series of geographical challenges to overcome by building things which start at simple steps and then become different types of vehicles. The scope of ambition for a smaller indie game is huge and the tools and worlds have so much promise.
There is a decent chunk of content already for EA, and it's something which can only expand as they offer more worlds and hopefully a community builds out via the included workshop tools.
At present the game is fun but you have to work at it a bit, it throws ideas at you from the off, often not explaining them very well if at all, and it's in real need of an actual EA window and some QOL changes to prevent you falling out of challenges losing your progress, losing your last build blueprints or just explaining how things work (strong rods are also heatproof which is needed in lava but they never tell you this, I found by accident).
It's got one of the best controller based building tools I've seen, easily up there with the likes of LBP or even modnation racing, a lot of work must have gone into it. Some of the other controls are not so good feeling a bit clunky or imprecise, especially holding onto things and manipulating them, which you need to do.
This leads to my biggest concern, they just don't seem setup for an EA - you'd expect an engaged dev team who want to talk and respond to your feedback. this isn't the case and their discord isn't even on the steam page, if you do find it you get a perfectly pleasant PR community manager who I'd guess hasn't played the game thanking you for your comments but with no real interaction or intent as to your experience helping shape the game.
As things stands this could be bloody brilliant, but it's not yet and needs a bit of work to get there, I'm not sure they are equipped or going to engage in a way to make that meaningful leap in EA they claim to be trying to achieve.
