Pinball lovers alike, listen close...this is a GREAT game.
There is a A LOT packed into this free to play base game.
There is even a robust pinball editor where you can design and create
your own tables with no coding required. You can decorate the table,
add your own elements (pop bumpers, kick-out holes) and your own scoring system.
The DLC is abundant and cheap! I have all the DLC and each one adds a different
theme than the last and comes with new and refreshing mechanics.
There is also an arcade within the game that you can play some cool arcade-like games
when you're not feeling pinball.
Did I mention there is also customization? Yes! You can edit your ball skin and there are also
a ton of announcers to hear that make call-outs as you play.
The developer is a really nice guy and is always open to improvements and ideas
so the players have a lot of input with the direction of the game.
The game is also constantly updated with polish and improvements so it only gets better.
You have nothing to lose tbh! Give it a TRY!

Not a fan.
Seems poorly explained, for starters, had to look into the setting to figure how how to launch a ball, or use the flippers. Also it says there are either eight or ten camera options, depending on where you look, but I have no clue how to switch thru them, even after looking in settings.
The one board I have played has very little you can do it in, as well, which is kind of where the fun is in pinball.
I think my biggest issue is that it is bait and switch feeling, with a lot of for-cash DLC to get other tables. That's really tacky.
Not sure if I am going to go back and play it some more. I've only gotten ten minutes it, but they haven't been very fun minutes.
One thumb down.

Cute game, you had me at "Pinball", will have to chase all the achievments. Will give it a positive even though there are some issues.. But hopefully the devs will work out some of these kinks.
The one issue I will mention is with the camera. Had it change on me midgame without pressing the button. Had it stick to a smaller portion of the table. Had the camera switch also not switching when trying the button and a bad angle where you don't see the ball approaching the flippers. Would be nice if this were fixed if to have a more competitive scene. Otherwise cheers for another pinball game.

Roxy Raccoon's Pinball Panic is a blast if your looking for some casual pinball fun! Highly recommend, enjoyed the color layouts of the menus and tables, a lot of neon pinks/purples. Customizing the raccoon was cool, enjoyed the mini games and the physics of the raccoon ball moving around were well done. You can tell a lot of time, effort, and love went into this title from the developer. Can't wait to see what they release next!

This game feels like what could've happened if Banjo-Kazooie got a pinball spinoff.
Is this the best pinball simulator you'll ever play? No.
Is this the best pinball/adventure game you'll ever play? It's very possible.
I've played a few hybrid pinball games, and this one is by far the most fun I've had. While it doesn't scratch the pinball itch as much as I'd like, it shines through as a fun adventure game with pinball mechanics. I like that there are a lot of features an unlockables in the game as well.
Buy this if you want a fun adventure game with pinball mechanics with some old-school vibes but with new-school features.

Simple pinball game with a story mode. The story is actually worthless, but there are 10 different retro-based pinball tables and most of them are pretty fun. The physics are surprisingly good and I like the clean and colorful graphics.
There are a few annoyances: the ball goes faster down than the camera on certain tables after zooming in on a smaller playfield, and some of the slingshot sounds are really annoying. But all things considered this is a fun little game, and I'm really happy to see more devs doing pinball games.

Highly addictive and great fun!
There is a Story Mode, but if you wish to simply play the tables then simply click on the Pinball tab. Then click on the tab for the Mode you wish to select. The Modes are:
*Classic
*Roxy Assist
*Score Attack
*Time Attack
*Survival
To play a table outside of Story Mode there are two ways to earn access. Either reach that table in Story Mode, OR click on the Random Table tab and the game will select a table at random. Once you beat a table this way it stays unlocked.
CONTROLS:
Gamepad or Keyboard.
LEADERBOARDS:
There is an online Steam Leaderboard for each table and for every mode. You can view each Leaderboard by clicking on Global, Friends, or Around Me.
DLC The game includes some tables* and mini-games that don't require a DLC purchase, but I highly recommend the DLC. It's inexpensive and adds to the fun. I look forward to each month's latest DLC for the latest tables and bonus content.
A new DLC pack is released near the beginning of each month. Each pack contains 1, 2, or 3 tables, unlockable content, and usually a game for Rapid Ryan's Casino. As I type this on Jan. 5, 2024 there are a total of 44 Pinball tables available for purchase. This doesn't include the many Arcade Playfields. There is also a feature that allows you to create your own tables.
The game comes with 12 tables already in the game prior to the purchase of any DLC.
RAPID RYAN'S ARCADE
These come up within the Story Mode, but can also be played within the Arcade. You can select a Playfield or click on Random Table and the game will choose one at random. Each one has its own Leaderboard.
I've had no problems with this game. DLC currently ranges in price from .99 for packs with only 1 table, to $1.99 for packs with 2 or 3 tables.
Made with Unity; The game is excellent.
I'm long-winded, so please forgive the lack of pith.

New edit April 13, 23:
All of the DLC is completely optional and basically used as support money to give updates to the game. There are free updates to this game as well. There are plenty of tables and mini games without DLC too!
As a note: If you like pinball, raccoons, or supporting small and available devs. get this.
This is a short retelling of the main Roxy Raccoon story, but through a pinball game versus an adventure. It's abridged, and only features a few characters and stories from the game however.
I am not a big pinball fan, but I do love raccoons, and Roxy is one amazing girl. It is well worth the price now, and dev will keep updating with new features for a bit. I would happily buy a couple of DLC packs for more content, as is standard in pinball type games. Dev has made no mention of these, so I only say this to let them know how I feel.
The game as of today, as a story mode, a free mode, and a special game mode. Story has 8 maps, free mode has the same maps (with two modes), and special has 4 at the moment. Most maps will allow you to use a few camera modes, so play around with them to figure out what works best for you. Also the UI is movable, which I found interesting.
Achievements are for getting high scores, getting gems, finishing trials, clicking around, playing story, etc. All are achievable. I am working on the last 4 currently as a note.
Story mode is advanced through getting above a certain score. It's not very hard, and I only had a few small bugs that did not comprise game play. Dev knows about them and will be fixing. Through story you will unlock the ability to change Roxy's fur and wear an accessory. On fail (running out of balls and not high enough score), you just restart the current map. You have as many attempts as needed. i only found two story maps a bit challenging, as both were a bit hard for me to keep an eye on Roxy.
To unlock new items, you need to do all witch trials on a map during one save, get a high score (above the requirement), or get all the gems on a level in one save. Each of these will give you one new item. By one save I mean you get a set number of lives per run, and can die but not get a game over.
For free mode, you have access to a few boards before you need to unlock more through story. You have two modes here, but I am honestly unsure what the difference is. Each map is available on both modes, and have their own high scores.
Special mode is where you see boards that have unique rules, such as shuffle board or balls coming at you automatically. I loved this mode, and made my way to the top of each by trying to figure out the best method. All of the scores can be improved, so I look forward to seeing higher scores.
This game is played with keyboard and mouse OR controller. There is not an advantage to one or the other.
My only gripe with the game is the witch trials (and gems on one map), I am struggling with a few to get them all in a single run. But I probably just need to practice a bit more.

The Good: The art is simple but has it's own cute style. The tables layouts are unique (I don't know that I've ever seen outlane flippers before) and offer some challenging (but not impossible shots). This is a game I don't mind my 5 year old playing as a basic introduction to pinball.
The Bad: The departure angle from flippers is physically wrong, almost mandating all shots to be backhand. Trapping up and shooting results in shots straight up or to the backhand side, cross field shots are nearly impossible. If you're an experienced pinball player, you can't make shots the way you expect. Minimal modes or the modes that exist lack callouts and flashing lights to indicate what shots need to be made. I've also noticed slowdowns that result in flippers being stuck in the up position, not falling back as one would expect, (playing on an AMD 2600X and RTX 2060.)
Overall: Recommended, but I hope that the devs work on making the physics better primarily when it comes to the flippers.
