While I hate to leave a negative review when I can see the love that was put into this project, I simply cannot recommend this game.
The atmosphere was dark and suitable, and the control was perfectly adequate, but the character design left much to be desired - especially in contrast to the environmental assets. Case in point: the naked mustachioed man was more laughable than frightening.
The repetition of the gameplay is not really a deal-breaker for me, as I understand the concept behind the repeating environments altered by paranormal activity upon subsequent visits. However, this "PT" mechanic has been better explored in other indie horror titles, and I feel it didn't land as well in this entry.
With all of this said, I do believe this title shows the developer's potential, and I will not be requesting a refund as I still wish to give support.

I played this game before when it was showcased at an event, and here I am trying it again here. Even though I knew what was in store for me I still got scared a bunch of times. The game's short but it's well made. I am not a fan of horror games, but this was fun.

After playing PsychoRavens game "Omitted"... I was going to see if they had improved any on their aspect of creating a horror game. I didn't go into this game with high hopes... because "Omitted" was such an abysmal game to me... and I was right not to expect much here either. This game is almost literally a "P.T." clone... with a story that could have went somewhere... but ultimately in the end.. it fell very... very... short of the mark. Needless to say I probably won't be investing any more time in any horror game releases by PsychoRaven... because it's just a waste of my time.

A decent PT-esque game where you go around in circles inside a house while weird things happen around.
It has its moments, but it also has some frustratingly unclear puzzles.
It's good enough if you like to try smaller indie horror titles.

This is the first time I've left a review but felt compelled to leave one due to my utter disappointment with this game.
Now for the price paid I was under no illusions I was going to get an AAA title but for what you do get in this game or what is more like a demo is next to nothing.
Yeah there are a few jump scares in there which are pretty well done but other than that what you get is the following:
2 "Puzzles" to solve which are simple combinations that took 30 seconds to crack and coming from soneone who has the observational skills of a blind sloth.
Simple pick things up and put them in the right place. When I say the right place there is only one place for it to go.
A razor thin storyline
An ending more disappointing than finding out the ice cream machine doesn't work at your favourite fast food place.
Positives???
Well the graphics are acceptable and the sounds are there. It has a loading screen.... oh yeah for this console players controller support. However for the 30 minutes you'll be playing the game there's no real point in plugging your controller in.
So to sum it up if you want to waste your money for all of the above by all means do so the developer with be your friend. But, if your looking for a better way to spend that amount of money buy yourself a dirty mag and your favourite brand of tissue and believe me the enjoyment will last longer!

You get like 30 minutes of gameplay. It's good but I don't recommend it at this price lol

Although a interesting story and scary ambiance. I could not shake that it felt to closely related to P.T Demo with the Looping areas. The only reason I would recommend this is the story. I want to see more from you for sure in the future.

This game gave me the real chills; if you like psychological horror, this does exactly that and it does it right.
While it's a relatively short game, it's super worth playing if you like horror games especially at this price point imo
Also, the graphics and the sounds were pretty sick. Looking forward to what the developers have to offer next!

Implements of Hell plays like a PT style game where you're exploring the house
of a man who committed adultery, wife finds out, commits suicide, and he's determined to bring her back by ritualistic means.
The game doesn't give you much context as to what is going on, but it slowly unfolds as the loops through the house progress. This is a very short indie horror game that you can complete in less than an hour. There is brief nudity, but any full frontal nudity does not show genitalia and the people look like Barbie/Ken dolls in the nether regions.
I enjoyed this game and got some good jump scare screams out of it.
TW:
suicide by hanging
PROS:
* Good atmosphere and SFX to match
* Decent graphics for an indie game
* Simplistic controls (right and left mouse button only)
* Fun and simple story
* Predictable but fun jump scares (enjoy the jank)
CONS:
* A bit dark at times and would have been nice with more lighting or a (consistent) light source for the player character
* A few repetitive flashing lights that could trigger epilepsy or anyone with photo-sensitivity
* Didn't realize for a few loops that Zoom (right mouse button) was needed to complete a section
* Highlighting for pickup would have been helpful instead of just a small circle when it's something you can interact with

First things first, this is a P.T. clone in every sense. Not saying that as a bad thing, as it was the driving force of my purchase for this title. However, this clone has no soul.
Let's begin with the graphics. The graphics are perfectly fine. Most of the time, the game is very dark..but what you do see is passable enough for the little bit of time you'll be seeing it.
But then we get to a particular male character model. So low grade and comical that it took any feeling of dread I may have had and threw it out the window. All I could think about was the Neighbor from Hello Neighbor.
The sound is passable. Ambient noise is well done and sound effects are decent. However, any time voice acting is done (and thankfully its kept to a minimum) you can tell it was recorded in an amateur setting. Sounded very "tinny" and hollow, as if done with a very low grade microphone.
The puzzles, about 2 of them, are very easily solved and are more akin to being just minor road bumps on your continuous walking path to nowhere.
All in all, for the price you're paying....you know you're not getting a AAA title. Although that's not always a guarantee for quality (looking at you BF2042). However, for $6.99 I was expecting more than what honestly felt like a glorified demo and to be blunt...a boring one at that. If you're a collector of horror titles as I am, and want to give it a shot...by all means. But I can not in good faith recommend this title.
Spend the extra money and check out Visage, a far superior P.T. Clone.... but in the meantime I hope PsychoRavens continues to create more titles in the future
**NOTE: Even though I do not recommend this title and have under 2 hours play time, I will not refund it as that only hurts small developers and discourages the creation of more games.
