First things first... Let's go ahead and applaud this indie developer for not just using an asset kit to make his first Steam game like so many do these days. *Applaud* This game is very simple and can be enjoyable, but I can't help but want to help this dev make this game better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJcnUYu74f0 Sound sliders should be in the options so we can adjust the music and sound effects separately. Not here at launch, and in fact, there are NO options at all. Ugh. Most people will play this game in the single player mode, so why can we not use the left mouse button to fire instead of the space bar? Easy fix to make the game a lot more enjoyable. No power-ups? .WHY? It's not 1987 any more. We need more than just blasting rocks and a couple of enemies or this game will get boring in 5 minutes. Zzzzz No Steam leader boards? Again.. WHY? Give is a reason to keep playing.. and to play more than five minutes! To be the best at this game on the Steam high scores would give us a reason to keep playing! The music choice is HORRIBLE in my opinion. But hey, we know what they say about opinions right? Look, at least give us the ability to turn the music down or off and keep the sound effects on! The background looks more like an old ladies black dress material instead of space. Make the background completely black would be better than what you have. Add randomly placed stars instead and if you really want it to look good, make the stars move at about 1/50th of your ships speed and move in the opposite direction you are moving. I won't even give this game a score, because it needs more work and some creativity from the developer to even deserve an actual score. It's too simple with annoying sound effects and music as it is right now.. but I DO appreciate what this developer is doing. I've been right here in his shoes with my first asteroid blaster myself. Keep working on this @ dev and don't lose heart. Trust me when I tell you that you won't make a million dollars on this even if you make it 10 times better than it is right now. However making it better will help you gain skills that will very likely help you craft a real winning game in the years to come! I'll give this a recommend assuming you want to help a new indie developer and support his dreams. It needs a LOT of work to be worth any amount of money though. There's at least a thousand better games just like this at the same price or less. Make it special. Make it stand out. ..Most of this review was aimed at the developer, but let's see what he does from here.

I agree with the only other review except I vote no. Its way too basic to ask money for this and still can not turn down the annoying music track
