I personally get a lot of fun out of this game. I know it's not exactly popular by any means and has its share of understandable flaws but I hope it can come back around and peek out of the shadows a bit more someday

It's a really fun game, but the optimisation is horrible. This runs worse than RDR2 on my card. Even after upgrading to a new system it wasn't significantly better. These graphics should not be this performance demanding.

Meh, games got a good artstyle but it blends in too much with the levels. In my opinion the gun play falls flat when most cards completely de-value every weapon and half my games are lost from someone spamming all their cards and killing me instantly with the sniper and the akimbo card. and i think the acting is on disney channel one-liner level.
at the end of the day: i don't like it, but maybe you will.

The game is good. I'd only recommend getting the game on sale if you have friends who are interested in playing.
Otherwise I wouldn't recommend buying, devs are working on different projects with this games last update being in September 2024. Low player count also results in a good likelihood of encountering the long time players who have most/all the cards(alongside maxing out their levels).
Only thing I knock the game for is not limiting the amount of times you can jump before being on a cooldown, but it's not enough to say the games bad.

Friends Vs Friends has been a delight playing with my friends. I love that you can progress through the game naturally and earn in game cash to earn even more awesome cards with unique art on it. THE ART STYLE you cant forget it its so beautiful, when i saw the trailer i was super excited as to what the game play would be and it exceeded my expectations. I would 10/10 recommend the game.

It pains me to have to give this game a thumbs down. It has so much potential, bought & played it on day one release, hoped it would get way more recognition, & a larger player community. I was without access to a gaming PC for all of last year, so didn't get to return to it until a few days ago. Bummed to say I'm not satisfied with the current state it's in, they didn't improve on it the way I was hoping. The game still has the same issues I had with it on day one release, but I was willing to let slide. Which is the game needed better match balancing, & a less competitive grinding reward system.
If it had a large & more active player count, I think I could have continue to look pass those main issue, but with the game being currently only dominated by high level player, or potential hackers/cheaters. I don't know how the devs expect any new players or a causal gamer such as myself, to ever level up or achieve any of the rewards they want you to unlock by playing or winning matches all the time. So due to that I'll have to be giving this review a thumbs down, to hopefully save any new players with high exceptions with for a balanced online matches.
I wouldn't be surprised if the devs have moved on different projects, would be kool to see them try to make it more worth while to play. If that ever does happen, I'll replay & change my review to a thumbs up.
