I initially wrote this game off as it appeared too simplistic but after playing the demo I was hooked. This game is a steal at the price it's at.

Top tier roguelite for the price. I would have happily payed over double the asking price for this gem... and that's BEFORE the small but dedicated modding community added a ton of value and replayability to an already deeply replayable and enjoyable roguelite, thanks to the simple but shockingly powerful modding tools the developer made for this game. Also available on Android if you really want to ruin your life.

Do you like turn based combat? Play this game. Do you like too many difficulty options? Play this game. Do you like rolling dice? Play this game? There is technically infinite content to play with here. This game does a LOT with a little. Everyone should at least try this.

It kept me interested for nine hours, so it exactly meets the $1 per hour criterion. That's about all I have to say about it. The entirety of my play time occurred before they added achievements, but I don't think I like the game enough to bother chasing after those. There's a demo, so maybe just play that instead of reading Steam reviews. It will tell you whether you like the game or not.

I had modest hopes for this game. Boy. This turned out immensely better than anticipated. Every free moment I've been able to scratch together I've spent on this game until I've played legitimately 15 hours. (Hours are inflated by AFK time on my profile.) But I've barely scratched the surface, I feel. This game is so well crafted, tightly, thoughtfully balanced, and immensely creative. I highly recommend a purchase.

Very fun and well designed, it's not as build heavy as many games of the genre and less impacted by RNG which fits well. The many items and heroes also offer for good replayability.

Very fun and incredibly deep, which is what you want to see out of a game like this. It's tempting to compare this to Spire (it occupies the same part of my brain and life), but it plays more like a puzzle game than anything else. It's also a game made for powerusers: modding is built into the UI, there's a sandbox mode for practicing any battle you can imagine, and the game handles a bunch of the annoying parts of high level play for you, letting you focus on the fun decision-making. For instance, the game keeps track of what upgrades you've already seen (since seeing them takes them out of the pool), making it easier to estimate probabilities for certain upgrades showing up. Ultimately, this is a rogue-like without any cruft or grind. Almost every fight has felt fresh and interesting so far. It's hard to compare to Spire because it plays in a deceptively different way, but they are easily in the same league as one another. Huge recommendation if you like deckbuilding roguelikes!

If you like RNG and Roguelikes, this is the game for you. I'm still early but it seems like there is a ton of replayability. The strategy might be complex but an undo button makes the battles much less punishing

This game is so much fun, especially on the steam deck. At first I thought it was just a RNG dice game. And while that's not completely untrue, there are so many decisions you have to constantly make to steer the RNG in your direction, which is super satisfying. Felt a lot like finding the perfect Joker/deck combination in Balatro. It's also so easy to just pick up and play. I played it a ton while travelling. The combat and choices are really engaging and easy to learn. But the further you get, the deeper the mechanics become. It's also surprisingly hard. Took me a couple of hours to beat an easy run, and I'm only now just whiping on the last boss of hard-mode. And I didn't even touch the mods (that are toggable inside the game menu), which means there's so much more content. And a small thing I also really love, is that the devs took the time to make every detail in your UI configurable. It really shows the level of detail this single dev put into the game. Really amazing game for a super fair price.
