True rogue gameplay. The updates are plenty even to this day. I sincerely approve of this game!

Meant to review the game here a while ago. Shattered Pixel Dungeon is one of my favorite games in general, and I've been playing it since 2015, when it was still a small mobile game. The game has a lot of replayability with over 1 million possible level generations. The game has fun boss fights, quests, mobs that range from easy to the bane of my existence. Each hero is a fun play, offering a different style each time. Overall, this is a really good game, and is worth the money.

Played more on mobile this is a challenging old school rogue style game. Definitely recommend for those who are into old school pixel games and a challenge this is also a fork of pixel dungeon and much improves on the original.

Pretty good little dungeon game, for the price it's a steal.

Not a bad game, but can I recommend it for $10? Not really. It is a good classical roguelike but it doesn't have much content. I am on the fence about a lack of metaprogression - I respect the choice to avoid it, but it's popular for a reason. I guess I partly bought this because I played the hell out of it for free on android about a decade ago. It hasn't really changed much, and there are much more elaborate knockoffs/forks out there. Just kind of a bummer that the OG feels like a decade-old mobile game.

Great classic rogue game with a bit less items than other games in this genre, which is a nice breather if you play a lot of these games. Still gives you a lot of complexity in tactics and builds but with less items overall.

50h later I can fully recommend this game - i had a blast playing it. The depth of the game mechanics seem pretty low at first but within each hour you play, you find more reasons to prove yourself wrong - the mechanics are subtle but yet give you an edge if you know what are you doing (10/10).

I remember struggling on the first level for the first 10 hours wondering what it is I used gold for and would give anything to relive my initial wonder and horror upon realizing that "floor 6" was essentially level two. and, I fondly remember almost pissing myself laughing when I initially ran into my first bomb trap room when I started complaining about bad rng.

Easy to play, hard to master. great game 10/10
