Although one may play a session or two and chalk this game up as something that was of the time (2021-2022), I really do think 'SPLATTER' is more relevant now than ever.
If 'Cruelty Squad' was a scrunched version of the original 'Rainbow Six' games, Splatter is more like a mix of 'HYPER DEMON/Devil Daggers', 'Neon White' and the pure satisfaction of that day when we all saw the "ALL MY APES GONE" tweet. It is both more and lesser than Cruelty Squad in ways that I prefer. Pure, pure satisfaction and glee.
Game knows who to tell to get bent and bends your mind in the process while being hysterically funny. I'd run through a wall for these people, they get it and I want more of what they're putting down.
