This would be an amazing cosmetic selection for Security if the helmet had more color choices. Aside from that it's a tolerable edition but not worth the price tag I believe. Get it if you want, but be warned of the limitations of it.

For people possibly looking for a simple explanation;
Yes this is a cosmetic year pass. This does not make anything pay 2 win at all.
This is simply a way to support the developers and show there are still dedicated fans who love this game and want to watch it thrive.
If this was a donation purchase with no given content whatsoever, I'd still buy it because I genuinely love this game.

Weaponskins help against too small peepee, hair loss and bad fashion taste.... at least I hope so. Otherwise I see no reason to buy this DLC. But I like the game so much and want to see all the cute bugs patched out that have been with us all for ages :)
I love you, developers! Here's my money. But don't push my patience too far....

Goodbye, money.
Jokes aside, these are wonderful skins and quite possibly the best. I'm especially glad the universal digital skins are back. Something I don't understand though is that all of the skins (universal digital and two-tone green) are in the favor of security, meaning there are none for the insurgents. That's a shame because I wanted a green AKM, FAL, and even the VAL as an alternative to the red dark skin to which I am not really fond of. The headgear cosmetics are cool, but rather lacking. Kinda wish there were more color options for the mask, as we only get a tan variant for the mandible and no option for a logo-less ballistic mask.

The pack includes two skin sets for Security and none for Insurgents, which is weird considering the two-tone weapon finishes have been made for Insurgent weapons as well. Regardless though, they look nice and are probably my favourite skins in Sandstorm so far.
The Universal Digital set is glitched when it comes to magazines on the m16 and mk17, as they appear to be from the Hunter pack while the rest of the skin functions properly. There are also no cover pictures for the Universal Digital skins so they just appear as the mk17 hunter and m16 desert hex in the inventory menu. Overall, they look ok but need to be patched up.
As for the helmets, they're ♥♥♥♥. Even if we skip past the major fact that they do not belong in a game like Insurgency - it is almost impossible to make them look good in any build. The Mandible helmet for example has a ton of clipping issues especially with eyewear and only comes in one 'tan' colour that doesn't correspond with any other colour available for security.
In conclusion, if you like the Universal Digital and two-tone green skins you might wanna consider buying this. But I believe it'd be more sensible to wait for each individual DLC to release and buy the things you like.
NWI should also focus on patching and polishing the content we have in the game currently instead of pushing out unnecessary updates that just break the game further. So think about whether or not you want to support their practices before buying this.

Slick headgear and paintjobs for your guns. Comes bundled with your regular clipping issues and magazines from entirely different skin sets.

I'm only negatively reviewing this because it's a lie.
The year pass claims to give you access to "all upcoming cosmetics", but does not include the ones released with the current season/operation.
It's a lie. It only includes specific skins that the developer wants to give you. They're still releasing cosmetics alongside the year pass as DLCs. This year pass was supposed to give you access to all upcoming DLCs throughout the year. It doesn't.
