Too difficult to figure out progression. Got locked out of a quest by being unable to determine how to decorate. Too many different kinds of crafting tables.

I really wanted to love Bandle Tale. The world is beautifully crafted, the art is charming, and the characters are endearing with moments of genuinely funny dialogue. I also enjoyed the crafting—it’s satisfying and well-designed.
That said, I ran into a lot of situations where I had no idea what to do next. I’ve played plenty of puzzle games and don’t mind a challenge, but for something marketed as a cozy game, I found myself checking the Wiki way more than I’d like. The lack of clear direction sometimes pulled me out of the experience.
There’s a lot to love here, but I wish the game had done a better job guiding players through its whimsical world.

o jogo é bem bonitinho mas algumas missões são muuuuito compridas de se fazer, itens muito longe um do outro, diálogos gigantes e maçantes.

Bandle Tale – 50 Hours Later
After 50 hours inT game and unlocking 100% of the achievements, I can confidently say I liked Bandle Tale. It’s got a cute, fluffy vibe that makes it a chill experience — especially if you’re into the Yordles. The game does a nice job expanding on their lore and giving them more personality, which is great for longtime League fans.
That said, once the credits rolled, I found myself wishing there was more. There’s no post-game free roam, no New Game Plus — nothing to mess around with after the story ends. Even just keeping your skill tree progress in a second playthrough would’ve made it more tempting to jump back in. Sadly, that’s not the case.
The grind is real. A lot of the gameplay boils down to running around and hosting party after party just to earn enough XP to keep advancing. It doesn’t hold your hand much either, kind of throwing you in the deep end and telling you to swim — just like League itself.
As of now, I’ve got no real reason to return. If I was bored, I’d probably just go play actual League. The replayability isn’t really there. Sure, it gives some extra lore to the Yordles, but that’s kind of all it offers in the long run.
Still, if you like the fluffier side of the League universe and enjoy a cozy, whimsical vibe, it’s a fun ride while it lasts. Just don’t expect it to pull you back in once it's over.

OH I LOVE IT AND I HATE IT AT THE SAME TIME (You and I drink the poison from the same vine) 🎵🎼🎶
But seriously though. I loved this game and I also hated it. Such cute, VERY aesthetically pleasing visuals. I love the idea that gathering "emotion" from experiencing new foods or sites gave you energy to use for skill points.
I loved the fast past dinner cooking/serving aspect, and I loved throwing parties and collecting orbs.
I did NOT like however, the endless "fetch this fetch that" style of the game. And the system of:
1) fulfill main quest duties
2) throw a food stand
3) throw some sort of part
4) get the skills you need
5) repeat back at the top
Was a system that took me FOR EVER to learn and there was little to read online.
I don't know how they could have fixed that, maybe more instructions or reminders on the importance of food and party events I guess?
Anyway I was happy after 50 hours to beat it, and getting perfection was disappointingly easy. (Before I actually got 100%, it was considered 100% :( )
So yeah I'd say get this game if you want to be irritated and hooked and charmed by these little bandles.

I really wanted to like this game. But 20 hrs in, I cannot force myself to play it anymore. I finished rescuing clover, and while I want to finish it to the end, But the game play is very much walking around to gather materials only to realize that you needed one more item from where you just left.
I saw someone describe this as walking simulator, and I can agree with that.
The art is super cute.
Also the progression of how to unlock things is really convoluted.

As if the game wasn’t tedious enough on its own, it’s also been complicated and stressful way too often, running back and forth crafting what you need to craft what you had already crafted just to craft something new, all while completely losing track of the story. And then, when you finally beat the dark souls crafting game and skip the final credits, your last autosave is… wow, right before the party ends. At least I’ll be able to finish the achievements I missed with the game almost completed, but there’s not even any endgame content or anything at least that i know. Honestly, very disappointed. That said, the music and design are beautiful, but everything else just feels kind of sad.

Amazing game with a beautiful story.
The negative reviews are just noobs because they don't know how to look up recipes, Just look in your skill tree.

Bandle Tale is a very fun and engaging gem of a game! I had a great time playing it through!
It had way more content than I was expecting, about 25 hour long story alone. The story and characters were cute and overall very fun to listen to. I was interested from start to finish and didn't skip any dialogue, so that's that.
Some things the game didn't explain well or not at all, but figuring things out for myself was kinda rewarding in itself.
Things get gradually more complex as you progress. You just fiddle around, figuring stuff out as you go. I enjoyed it all very much and can absolutely recommend this game!
