Honestly? I can recommend this game to anyone who enjoys repetitive, undemanding tasks. However, I wouldn't compare it to games like Stardew Valley. They do have some similarities but BT has clear story quests that guide the player through the entire story. Are they fun? Yes and no. For the most part, I enjoyed trying out new recipes, taking to Yordles and exploring the LoL universe (as a LoL player myself), but after about 7 hours of gameplay, the game became incredibly repetitive, to the point where I had to take several days off to avoid getting bored. Maybe I did something wrong, but from what the game suggests – you have to constantly run or fast travel to keep up with simple tasks that previously could only be completed in a small area at a time. The game isn't demanding, but sometimes it simply takes away from the fun, leaving me randomly running out of space in my house with no way to upgrade it yet, forcing me to run around looking for places with special spots on the ground like 'Focus' or 'Heat' so I can craft specific items etc. This kept me stuck at that 8-9 hour mark. I'm sure I'll get through it eventually, but as I said, I highly recommend this game if you don't mind getting frustrated by little things like that from time to time.

Bought this expecting maybe a stardew clone in a LoL-Coat but got very positively surprised. Not only is the Atmosphere very cozy, the story also feels fleshed out and the gameplay Mechanics are quite creative and fun + cute character Creator

I love this game solely for the yordles - solid 8/10. I'd still recommend it since it's a relaxing cute resource game. Though the game guides are a bit confusing. I found myself not knowing what to do half the time and gathering materials but I still enjoyed it nonetheless

The game is fun, but it doesn't have a wow effect.
I liked the graphics, the story, the dialogues, the quests, the cooking, and the portal transition animation — that was done in an interesting way.
There are a lot of hints, but I still felt like I needed a few more, or maybe I just didn't notice all of them.
If you miss a certain resource, you have to run around later to collect it, and you constantly have to go to sleep.
I definitely recommend this game, but it's not the best game I've ever played.

I really want to like this game, but I just can't. There are way too many mechanics and the way the game explains them is just bums. I love league, my bloody main is Rumble for god sake. But I would much rather just go and play Stardew valley over this. This is also the exact reason I stopped playing Sun haven, the game just becomes too much at some point. And I just can't keep up unless I play the game religiously. And I don't wanna do that, I play cozy games to chill out, but I swear I'm for chill playing Half Life 2 over this.
A Charming RPG That Forgets to Be "Cozy"
I generally enjoyed my time with Bandle Tale, but it's a game I recommend with some reservations. It presents itself as a cute, cozy crafting adventure, and while it starts that way, it eventually becomes something else entirely.
The art style is fantastic, and exploring the world of Bandle City as a Yordle is genuinely charming at first. The initial loop of learning new skills, crafting, and completing quests is engaging.
However, the moment the game opens up and you discover the rest of the islands, the experience takes a sharp turn. The game suddenly buries you under a mountain of mandatory tasks required to progress the story. What was once a pleasant journey became an overwhelming checklist of chores. The gameplay shifted from fun discovery to a demanding grind.
My biggest problem is that much of this effort feels pointless. For instance, you can put time into attending lectures at the academy, but the reward is just an outfit or some stars. This feels especially hollow when you discover you can simply buy the very same stars from a vending machine, making the entire activity feel like a waste of time. The sense of accomplishment just isn't there for many of the late-game activities.
Final Verdict: A solid 6/10.
It's a decent game with a lot to offer, but it gets crushed under the weight of its own grind. If you're a big League of Legends fan and don't mind a demanding task list, you might enjoy it. But if you're looking for a truly relaxing, "cozy" experience, you will likely be more frustrated than charmed.

It's a cute game with great animation. The glitches and bugs are ridiculous. I could cook yesterday and today no it's looks like I am cooking and then gives me the items back. I can't advance until I can start a food stand and cook. I have exit the game and come back and still can not cook. Not all the stations have the correct things to make so I can advance in the game. I will see if the developers will update the game and fix the bugs and glitches. I will change my review if they fix the bugs and glitches.

this game does not want you to play it.
