A bit short for the price, but mixing horror and puzzles is a great concept and I thoroughly enjoyed trying to solve puzzles while terrified.

I've played this game. the game is very exciting, very stressful, so many jumpscares, solving the puzzle really needs strategy and also the survival part. for the lighting is quite dark so I have to increase the gamma in the settings of this game but for all i really like this game this is a video of my experience playing this game https://youtu.be/XBGhwLr8HP0

Seems good the game, or at least there's a hint of something in here, although, and this is why I can recommend this game at the moment, there's a few points that make it frustrating. Firstly, the controls, or at least the one I'm using, a XBOX One Elite, doesn't seem to be working properly. The button to turn on the flash light is the same as the one to open doors, and to perform any kind of action. Now, lets talk about the flashlight, which, in this game, is the light coming out of a watch. A watch...in a game that is already so dark, you better take the flashlight and leave the character in the dark, since the flashlight doesn't do anything. Horrible and migraine inducing. I understand its a horror game, but why, for the love of God, can any character have a normal flashlight?? Now, to the most important... For some reason, unknown to me, textures keep disappearing, making the game look like it came straight from the vaults of 2000, and this cant be a my graphic card, as it endures a lot of game in Ultra Settings. For you to notice you just have to look at the main characters hands, that inconsistently change between acceptable graphics, to the most shinny, clean, polish hands I've ever seen. Lastly but not least: whats wrong with the save system in this game? I've played the opening scene 3 times, because its impossible to save or even realise that the game saved, so, its a shot in the dark if you leave the game and it didn't save the past hour of progress, and, in this day and age, no. Simply no. No one has the time and patience to repeat the same sequence over and over again, just because the devs didn't want to trouble themselves to include a save system that actually works. But, amidst all of this, what it really bugs me is the light, and the controller support. Overall, good atmosphere and ideas, lost in the middle of some frustrating game choices from a bygone era were games were meant to be hard due to technical issues. Avoid until its fixed. And, as someone mentioned, you have to start the main game, to adjust the settings, and never, in all my years as a player, I've seen something like that. It makes no sense, at all. Graphics should be allowed to be adjusted, BEFORE you start playing, so your PC can at least try to handle it.

Really had higher expectations for this game. At the end, the only word that came to mind, was meh. It has a few good jump scares, the graphics are decent, the puzzles are easy, and the story had a great concept. But i feel like there's so much information missing/needed, and that great story concept was executed so poorly. After finishing, i'm still confused as to what you exactly accomplish. Either way, game's not awful, but i cant recommend it at its price point. Should be a $5 game. 5.5/10

tried to play it, looks good but the settings menu doesn't work and it's only in-game not in the start menu. I can't change the settings or quit the game. it worked when I changed it to 4k but now it's not working. I even reinstalled the game. maybe will try again if they fix it

Voice acting is somewhat decent not good not bad, moderate. Graphics are fine but optimization is lacking i get stutters every now and then. Animations are wonky at best its like its from a puppet show. I dont know if lean means anything other than just being there cause lean or no lean they see me so it feels like its just there but has not actualy function. Game is way too dark. not jurassic park dark its DAYYUM too dark. i had to adjust the gamma to get a decent look on things. Gameplay isnt bad. like in the most horror games the movement dosent feel like im carrying a 100KG pack on my back. Now a few things on other stuff The UI is good i really like how the game dosent tell you where to go via some marker rather than it shows on top of the item or place you're looking for. I cant adjust graphics or other options from the main menu like why? i have to start the game THEN press esc to bring up the menu. I mean adjusting stuff in main menu isnt a fuckin luxury its a must. Probably just an oversight, can be added later. Game glitches arent game breaking mostly silly stuff i mean when the bald lady saw me through the wall i just had a laugh and restarted from checkpoint. Overall its not bad but its not good either. For the price its asking its a decent game at least it gives the feeling of chill without being too forceful.

There really isn't anything here to warrant a play through. Every location is one and done, gameplay is nothing but sneak past dull AI and the "scares" are more obnoxious than frighting. It's cheap but you can find better for the same.

Full gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHLV3eIkM34 ** Update: Developer responded and they reduced the price which is really great. They also said going to release a patch to address some bugs that I encountered. I am going to change this review to recommended :) The game was good and had couple of very unique and challenging puzzles that I really liked but unfortunately I encountered couple of bugs here and there and had to restart checkpoints. Hopefully it will be fixed later. Visuals are good, there were small glitches but overall very nice looking game, one issue was the darkness of the game, had to change gamma control in settings because wasn't able to find stuff with default settings, maybe that was my system issue. You just need to solve puzzles and run/hide from enemies in the game. Story is promising but unfortunately game doesn't a very good job of story telling. My main issue was game length, it was way too short for this price, I was able to finish it around 2 hours and 30 minutes which as I said I encounter couple of bugs and also failed couple of times in one of the puzzles. I think it can be done for less than this. I think this game is not bad at all but for this price I can't recommend it.

Everything is for Humanity is a very neat looking horror game. Sadly that's about it. I take it back, the voice actor you hear in the trailer is pretty solid. Outside of that, this game is a hard pass for me. I'll break down why, but maybe you're scraping the bottom of the indie horror barrel like I am and just really want to try it anyways. Which hopefully you find something redeeming in this game. - Most of the visuals of this game look great. I suspect it's the stock assets or asset packs and the game engine (I forget which one at the moment) does a lot of heavy lifting with great volumetric lighting and reflections. However, there's a lot of made assets, characters, and animations that are pretty janky. It wouldn't be a problem if some of the rough assets weren't in a world of high quality ones. The mismatch makes it jarring. - The horror elements are mostly nonexistent. Getting chased happens a little bit in this game and that part can be scary, but I literally just sprinted around the threats. I don't even think I saw one of them? The AI and pathing is also pretty rough here. I hid in a room right in front of a monster, closed the door (didn't lock it) and it just went to the door, shrugged, and gave up. - The saves are annoying. So I completed a whole area of gathering stuff and wiggling around a threat. When I got the next cutscene, the game didn't make it very clear I had to leave in a hurry. In fact, I thought I'd be immune to the problem given the circumstances, but nope. I died. Had to go back through that process of finding the items again (which they're not randomized thankfully) - The puzzles are either obscenely easy or obnoxious because the instructions aren't quite clear. I actually soft locked myself because of it. You can (easily) brute force some of the puzzles and one of them has the dreaded Resident Evil Village puzzle. I won't get into what exactly that is, but if you know, you know. - I also got softlocked because there was a mechanic I wasn't sure how it worked. I saw an option to do something...so I did it. I was confused as to what exactly that was doing, but while I was wandering around I found a monster. The game then told me to do the thing I was doing, but you apparently can only do it once. I couldn't move, the monster wasn't attacking, I just stood there, stuck. This would usually not be enough for me to rage quit, but while I was getting annoyed with the game when it had some silly puzzles and a weird story. - Ah the story. So...I have no clue what's going on here. Now it could very well be that I'm just too dumb to know what's going on here, but I feel as if there's all these neat scenes/levels, but there's no explanation as to what's going on or why. The game just kinda throws things at you and expects you to accept it. It doesn't feel very character driven and it's just there enough to explain where you are, but that's about it. Hopefully you get enough out of this to make an informed decision if you want to try it yourself. I personally am not interesting in completing it, but maybe you are and you know what? Good on you! There's some nice visuals and imagery here, but I'm particularly picky with my horror games.

Everything Is For Humanity is a poor indie horror game. It takes influence from a lot of other horror titles but fails with execution. The two-hour adventure has awful cohesion and a weak story, despite some adequate level variety. The puzzles are lackluster, and the sections where you avoid threats are comparable to horror games from two decades ago, and that is when it’s working as intended. While it has a few jump scares, the horror is not worth the price of admission. If you do decide to take the risk and get Everything Is For Humanity, the scariest part will be coming to terms with the fact that you spent money on it.
