Played and finished this game multiple times, currently my best time is 3:40. this game is a blast to speedrun, it's so fun to just swing around and go through a room just that little bit faster. It's very addictive like that. There's a few annoying sound bugs but they don't take away from the solid gameplay they've got going here

It's neat, but be warned it is quite short. I beat the main game in half an hour, then took the rest of my time getting achievements. I would put it on par with a like, real good newgrounds game? Definitely was a good time still.

A challenging, short but sweet platformer. The game is well polished and I much enjoyed playing it. Just getting to the end isn't too difficult, but trying to get all collectables and achievements will likely take you some effort. Even at it's 1,60€ base price, it's an absolute steal. Go grab it if you like platformers. :)

It's honestly a really lovely game that has a lot of charm, recommended for anyone who likes 2D platformers and for people who want to get into precision platformers!! It is a bit challenging, but not that difficult so it is a great step into the genre! Overall the game is great and should get more attention!

Super Grappling Gecko is a great little game that can easily be finished in under an hour. The grappling mechanic feels great to control. The pacing is superb and has a very natural ramp in difficulty. There are also plenty of opportunities for those who want a more difficult experience to go into optional challenge rooms where they can try and collect clovers. Truly the only thing I didn't like about the game was the music. It runs on a 10 second loop that you can hear in the trailer. For $2.00 it's a great buy :)

Cute, cheap, and pretty easy game to speedrun in about five minutes. I'd love to see how low we can take this if anybody wants to talk strategy in discord. Grapple can feel a little weird and buggy at times, but after a bit of a learning curve it feels pretty consistent.

Super grappling gecko is a really short grappling platformer with a few hidden collectible to find. It took me 14 min to finish the game on my first playthrough, missing 2 collectible which were behind pass-through wall. Then getting the rest of the achievement took 38 min, which include one playthrough with all collectable, one playthrough without dying once and dying 100 time in one save, which was a bit annoying, since i'd hoped the total number of death would have counted from previous playthough. The momentum is fun, and i'd recommend it if you want a light challenge, but probably not if you are looking for something harder

Neat little game. It's fun, it has nice visuals but be advised that it is very *very* short - 1 hour for full exploration, and about 5 minutes if you know where you're going. The "no death" achievement takes longer. But I do leave a positive review though, since the game costs so little and honestly I just want to support the devs and see a full-fledged longer sequel later. As additional feedback for the devs: the movement inertia while using the grappling hook is ridiculously high. I mean, when you use the hook, the controls affect the movement so much it becomes a lottery for where you'll land. Note that this comes from someone who played a lot of shoppa / pro roper modes back in worms armageddon, and a few hours deep into this game I *still* found using the hook controls insanely difficult to reach places (let alone do tight maneuvers).

When I was told about this game, I didn't think too much of it, it looked like an adorable game that had some decent speedrun potential, and for the price, I was willing to spend a little money on the gamble of the game being decent. My expectations were well and truly met and exceeded. This game has you playing an adorable little Gecko (I'm not sure if it has a name? For now I'm calling him Grecky) as he traverses through some somewhat varied environments to save his Grandma? I think? While the story is somewhat unclear, this shouldn't take away from the incredibly smooth controls that this game offers. You can definitely walk through most of this game, with the occasional wall jump or swing to solve some platforming challenges, or you have the option to swing off literally any roof, and speed your way through the game with the use of the games inbuilt timer function. Additionally, the game offers a set of 15 collectables that, while not required to finish the game, are a welcome additional challenge for anyone who wants to go looking. Some require exploration, others will require a mastery of the movement tech the game provides, and both are a tonne of fun. In conclusion, this game is what you make of it. It can be a super easy stroll through a cave with some basic platforming, or if you're like me, you can try to reach the games ridiculously high skill ceiling and speed your way through the cave with some well timed grapples and tricks. This game is quite short, but has a lot to offer replayability wise to make your time even faster. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a short and fun platforming challenge. Note for the devs, I would love to see the menu options remembered between playthroughs, as currently each time you play, you need to manually switch on the timer and change sound settings.

It's a very challenger game. The game is short, but you can play more than one time if you want to master your grappling hook skills and beat your last session time or your friends ones. I'm already looking for youtube vídeos to find the best time ever on this game. :D
