I don’t play games super often — usually just when I’m in the mood for something calm and cozy — but Boxville absolutely hit the spot. I grew up loving classic point-and-click adventures (think Machinarium, Monkey Island), and this gave me that same warm, nostalgic feeling with its own quirky charm.
The cardboard world is lovely, the box-people are oddly expressive without saying a word, and the music is moody in a cozy kind of way — perfect for winding down after a long day.
The puzzles are clever but never too frustrating. If you enjoy slow, thoughtful games with a handmade feel, or just want something gentle with a cup of tea — Boxville is totally worth it.
