this game was advertised as if it weren't an early access game, which it is. I hope they keep working on it, but it's not looking good. don't waste your money until there are huge updates. they are already working on different games.

Ugh. I'm really sad to refund this. I played the demo and loved it. While somewhat janky, I could work with it and it was working fine enough for me to still enjoy it. I knew it really wasn't going to be finished, but I liked it anyway and wanted to support the devs even with all the mixed reviews. However, I can't get the full version of the game to work that well on Steam Deck. The controls are fine. But frame rate is awful and skips so much. I don't usually get dizzy from games but it was kind of dizzying. I tried changing the settings around but I still just couldn't get it to work as well as it did in the demo version. Breaks my heart because you can tell what the game *could* be. Lovingly made but sometimes that isn't enough. I really hope to buy the next game by the devs because I'd like to support them.

Great farming and life sim, game is still in production and bug fixes are coming out, really like the modernised approach to the farming sim using a smartphone and apps. Only had a small amount of stuttering which was resolved by turning off the experimental setting. Really enjoying the game and look forward for new updates.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game. It has some gamebreaking bugs which won't get worked on by the Devs own admissions. It advertises as a full release - It is not a full release, it's early access. If it was listed and priced accordingly for early access I would be kinder to it's bugs, but it's not

I really want to like this game. It's essentially 3D Stardew with its own takes on things. Really cozy, nice artstyle, etc etc. But the bare minimum I expect is for the game to not have a game breaking bug. I'm not going to spoil it, but basically, in this one quest involving a certain character that has something to do with the caves, there is a certain point where if you check your map after completing an objective within the quest, you get softlocked because the exit map button no longer works. I tried it on an XBox controller too. Esc does nothing, B does nothing, nothing does nothing. I'm sorry, but that's just fucking unacceptable. At least an occasional crash that happens randomly, or general performance issues are understandable. But this? Can't even get the esc key working? I don't recall playing any single game where something as simple as hitting esc failed. Like, there is a way to unstuck your bike in this game (use vehicle summon), but they can't get the most basic inputs right? Come on, man. Just come on. All it does it make me question what other game-breaking issues I might run into. Again, I want to recommend this game. I like this game a lot so far. But I'm not gonna recommend people to spend 30 bucks on a game that's broken.

I'll be super transparent: I love this game so much in theory and in a lot of practices, but I don't love playing it on my Steamdeck specifically. Pros: - one of the most "alive" worlds I've found in a farming sim game. I love that you can go from your farm to the nearby village, then off to the university research center, then into the caves, and then go check out the big city. People are milling about, there's different transportation systems available (bike to scooter to car to truck) that all have their perks and make this getting around easier. - getting to just hang out with characters. I love that you can just be like "hey wanna meet up at the coffee shop?" and get coffee with a character (this is also a sneaky way to fast-travel, hehe). - a cast of characters that I'm really interested in and feel very modern without leaning too hard into stereotypes. There's not a "sleepy but loveable" character, a "ditzy with colorful hair" character, nor a "large-bosomed woman who for some reason stands with her knees together and her feet askew" character, for example. They feel like humans! - SANDBOX MODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you ever been like "yeah I like the relationship-growing, farming, and exploration but why do I always have to move to the countryside broke as hell"? If so, the sandbox mode is for you! I started out rich as heck and with blueprints unlocked, so I could just focus on having a cute little house and getting to know the town and not stress turning a profit. I got the truck basically as soon as I could gather all the resources, and then it was smoooooth cruising. - no kids! Honestly, I kind of love that there's not the whole "get married and have babies" end game. It's nice knowing that I'm not going to be missing out on late/end game content if I don't welcome a child into my game that will for some mysterious reason never age past a toddler. The devs have spoken about this in a previous devlog, and I really appreciated their take. The cons: - even on the lowest of the lowest of visual settings, this game does not run super well on the Steamdeck. Granted, it's not trying to necessarily - it's not verified. But I like to play games like this cozy, on my couch, with my Steamdeck... and since that doesn't work very well, I don't play it very often. My poor Steamdeck basically runs with fans BLASTING and even then it's slow/laggy/choppy during some gameplay. - the farm management system can get very complex (for me) when you start to add in fences, irrigation, etc. I think this could be a big big plus for many players, but I kind of prefer the "stick sprinkler down and don't think about where it pulls water from" sort of management. Having to manage electricity generation, water collection, and then utilization of both just felt like a bit much, especially when trying to set everything up with controllers. Overall, I absolutely DO recommend this game, but if you're primarily playing on a Steamdeck, it wouldn't be the first game I'd jump to recommend in this space.

Love the game - hate the constant crashes. Don't like having to repeat same tasks over and over again due to game crashing. I did not see a way to save the game throughout the day.
