Farm Manager 2021 - Agrotourism DLC DLC

IMHO, this is amateur night. There are 3 DLCs for Farm Manager, one free and two paid. None of them are usable. The free wine one has a Download button which you can click until your mouse melts and it still won't download anything. The other two I purchased and was told that supposedly they would be added to the game. On the store page they show as being "In Library", yet they don't show anywhere in my list of installed programs, AND the store still shows me the price as if I had not already purchased it. When I select the DLC item on the game menu all three show buttons saying "Go to store", "Go to store", "Go to store". I shut down and restarted Steam. I cleared the download cache as Steam suggested. But still, those three little words; "Go to store". "Go to store". "Go to store". OK, I've been to the store. Next stop is a refund request.

BROKEN!!! WAYYYY TOO MUCH BUILDING MALFUNCTION SO ANNOYING PLEASE REMOVE THAT ASPECT FROM THE GAME AND IT WILL BE A MILLION TIMES BETTER.

This DLC feels like a money hack. First I made like 2k a day and than I started to play with the options from Agrotourism and it made me like 8k a day. It's funny to play and it make's the game more intresting to use organic products. There's a bug. The shop keeps asking for products but the shop got already like 300 of it what it is asking for and in the storage there're like 1500 more of it. You can only fix the bug by destroying and rebuild the buidling.

At $8, it is overpriced, at $4 it is a little high. There are about half a dozen new buildings, but they all (but 1) have to be built to work, and they barely interact with the rest of the farm. They make a nice end goal, but that is about it. That said, the sweaters are nice.

The DLC is nice, the concept of it anyway. You have to take into account all the needs of your visitors, however this can be hard at times, as not all visitors leave feedback and there is no list of actual needs. You need all buildings, but also decorations, and they seem to like fields for some reasons :D. Any way, as i said this is a 50-50, depends on your need. I never actually managed to finish the scenario, as my satisfaction level reached 4.3 maximum then always drops to 4.0. Check everything, nothing changes in my buildings and items, guess i'm just unlucky.

To clarify, I would recommend it on sale only. Like most of this devs games, great ideas get caught in some pretty dumb execution. The good - Alpacas! And horses. - adds a number of nice decorations which the game needs - adds one of the few small production buildings in the game, (a wool shop to make sweaters that doesn't take up a huge amount of space and need a ridiculous number of raw materials) - cool idea and you can build a pretty nice little resort The bad - No dang logic at all. None. Zip. It seems the devs have never set foot at a farmers market or visited a market garden. They seem to believe people do not stop at little roadside stands or petting zoos unless they plan to spend the night. In order to get any traffic to buy your goods, or visit your adorable little critters, you must also have a pricey parking lot, a $50000 visitors center and an $80000 guest cottage. Of course like everything else in this game it doesn't tell you that when you're paying to set up the attractions, so they sit there costing monthly fees, manned by a staffer getting paid to do nothing, while generating zero income. I mean, why in the name of all things holy can't I set up a frigging vegetable stand next to a pen full of friendly goats without building a full-on resort first? (This is a common complaint with the whole game and it's DLC's - quit letting us buy crap without letting us know we need three other buildings to make it functional! Saved up for that cow shed but can't afford a barn? They're all going to starve. Because the storage attached to the barn can store hay, it just can't accept deliveries.)

Fun! Really like the little houses and possibilities of that! But missing a dining place tbh. Also, can't feed the petting zoo and horses organic food for some reason, which really sucks on an all organic farm. Hope this will become a possibility in the future tbh.
