This could be a great game.
Is your goal an action game or an tactic game?
Because for me there are too many tiny things to look after in a too short time in menues that are not very well highlighted.
In short: 90% of attention is to learn to keep your shup not slipping out of your control, than focus on the enemy.
Meny controls feel unresponive.
Sorry but for me this is not the gameplay I can enjoy.
Micromanagement of stuff should not be key to victory but only an additional flavour!!!
You could add auto-manouvers, like keep certain distance or cruise around the target.
Firemode should depend on my timing, at least the special weapons.
The targeting mode is unresponsive, I have no idea if the weapons are doing what I want them to do.
FTL was quick to access, hard to master.
Your game is the blender of FTL like games, too many short cuts.
Please rework your concept of menues & controles..because now it only creates FOMO...
