If you want to be able to use a spore account to download creations from the internet, buy the game on EA launcher instead as creating an account is bugged on steam.
if you already have the game on steam you have to jump trough many hoops with EA support and they might even just not fix it anyway.
the game is a classic tho, easily recommend.

Spore is good and all but god damn the tribal stage is bullshit, I've never wanted to pluck my eyes out while playing a game more than doing tribal on hard, I saved right before two raid parties approached me and got softlocked in a battle i couldnt win until i used the cheatmenu.
tl;dr spore is good, one save per save file sucks and so does the tribal stage

This game is super customizable and fun, I highly recommend it to any player. Definetely one of my top 5 favourite games. I can play for hours without getting bored. I even got to the tribal stage in one sitting

This is the best civilization game ive played. Its not that complex so you can play it while relaxing, and the different stages of civilization are amazing.

I have a lot of fond memories but unfortunately time has not been kind to this game. I revisited it recently and experienced both pervasive crashes and repeated disconnects from the game server. Combine that with no autosave and it was just not really playable. But hey, maybe your luck will be better, it might just be that the game doesn't play nice with my PC.
