This is a huge improvement over The Curse of Feldar Vale, but I am not sure why. I am really getting much more into the system this time around. I am giving this a big thumbs up. It's inexpensive at full price, let alone on sale. It's a true DnD RPG like Baldur's Gate with lot's of fun building your party, clearing the maps, progressing through the story, etc. I would like to suggest the Dev adds at least an additional save armor set (like the save weapon sets) as I have a Half Elf Rogue/Archer who is my main searcher, trap disarmer, lock picker, etc., and I have to constantly switch back and forth between his "searching" set and his "archery fighting" set. In the town's shop, it would be nice if we could cycle through our party (i.e., Next) like all the other screens after purchasing something and adding to inventory, instead I have to save/close and then advance through the party (I may not be explaining this perfectly, but there is a screen situation where you can't cycle through your party that's irritating as it makes comparing party members to see who needs what difficult). I tried to set up my party using all 40 points, I used 39 on 4 party members (something like Level 9 Human Warrior, Level 9 Human Cleric, Level 9 Elf Archer, Level 6 Half Elf Rogue/Archer) and somehow ended up with an extra left over point or two, so I got a fifth part member, a level one (or two) Elf Mage. He's squishy but it's been fun trying to keep him alive, lol, he was only useful for giving the coupe de grace to an unconscious 1-health-point-left near death enemy, but now that he is level 6 he is starting to contribute with some AoE damage spells. In retrospect, due to almost always fighting in tight corridors and doorways, I am thinking a party of 4 with perhaps all multi-class at same level (5/5 x 4 = 40?). You only need one Warrior tank going down a hall in front, but you also need a Cleric for healing, so you end up with another tank which is useful in rooms, then I found that the archers work quiet well from the 3rd and 4th row. Or maybe a Cleric tank and 3 archers who can almost always make one-shot kill. Anyway, that's the plan for my next play through. lol Try it, you'll like it!

Followed all four of the games. Enjoyed each one more as they got increasingly better. Really enjoyed the tactical aspects. Would like to see hex grids instead the the squares, and it is pretty hard to level up unless you keep your character traits simple. The designers were available to help out when I got stuck. If they come out with more, I will definitely acquire them.

I've enjoyed all three games in this series. Great tech support for when I stumbled on a game-breaking bug.

The entire series is a must buy. If you like D&D style games then it's for you. The game is incredibly deep which is hard to tell from the store page. You won't find more hours of enjoyment for another RPG at this price on steam.
