I have long wanted to buy a Snooker game that would challenge me like that, for plays and not a whole game, like a puzzle, and LEGENDS OF SNOOKER - ONE SHOT fulfilled my wish. I loved it, very well polished and fun! I recommend the purchase.

Good snooker game with challenging levels in puzzle format. The music matches perfectly with the game's vibe. I recommend!

A simple snooker game focused on the last shot, it is like a puzzle game. The soundtrack is nice, makes you feel you are in a pub.

It's a great idea - you have one shot to pot the black. The execution is terrible though.
The graphics are very poor. Angle is only controllable to 0.5 of a degree. The power available is ridiculously high - at high power, you can barely even see the balls because they're going so fast (possibly due to poor optimisation). There's no spin available.
You can't aim precisely, so just hit the black as hard as you can and hope it ricochets off the cushions fifteen times and ends up in a pocket. Since most of the shots end up as flukes, there's very little satisfaction when you actually complete a level.
Also (needless nitpickery time) this isn't snooker, it's pool - although I'm not sure what variant: it's not standard 6/7/9/10 ball, since the black is the ball on even though there are other balls on the table, and it doesn't seem to be 8 ball since there are sometimes both stripes and solids left.
It's only £0.79, so I've not lost much, but it's still overpriced. I'd refund, but I left it too long before trying the game. Try it if you like, but my advice is just to not bother.
Edited to add - I've been going through my purchased soundtracks. This one is a single track of very average light jazz, that gets repetitive on a single listen and I'll probably never bother playing it again. Only making this note as several of the reviews say how great the soundtrack is.

I was not sure whether to recommend this game in my review, but I decided not to, purely based on the fact that most of the reviews don't seem to be legit. Anyone calling it a "great snooker game" is simply wrong, as this isn't snooker. You play with an 8-Ball pool ball, on a pool table..but you unlock achievements named after snooker greats like Dennis Taylor and Stephen Hendry. Puzzling.
There is a place for a trickshot style game on the market, but if such a game is made and released by people who don't know the difference between Pool and Snooker, then you can only expect it to be so good. Though I am happy to have a videogame achievement named after Dennis Taylor on my Steam profile, so that's something.

I will change this once the developper will change one of his impossible (bugged) achievement to get. Overall the game in itself is fun enough to play all the levels despite few minor problems but nothing to break the joy of the game.
Just fix this achievement, Arthur...

Nice game, unfortunately the game connects to external servers (non Steam), which is strange considering the game is has no leaderboards or online play!!! what is the meaning of these connections?
Also the games folder contains server configuration files with strings such as:
[code]
Mainsoft.Web.Security" applicationName="/" connectionStringName="LocalSqlServer"
channel id="tcp server" type="System.Runtime.Remoting.Channels.Tcp.TcpServerChannel, System.Runtime.Remoting
add type="System.Net.NtlmClient, System, Version=4.0.0.0
